anyone wanna test with me?
install the cabs in the above link to improve battery. monitor your battery with this cab http://www.acbpocketsoft.com/Product...verview-2.html

I URGE YOU TO PLEASE TEST. i hope this finding is confirmed. Thanks

Thanks for this tip but where are the two cabs to install to disable these drivers and thanks.

Found the cabs at the beginning of the thread you referred to and thanks.

I noticed that since I installed V9 my wallpapers don't look as clear (sorta fuzzy). Any ideas?

Another thing I have noticed regarding battery life (observing it with the meter you posted):

If I spend any time at all synced up to wmdc, the power usage seems to stay high after unplugging the usb cable. This independant of whether I kill async with the task manager or not. If I soft reset after unplugging the power usage is low after booting back up and seems to stay that way. A few random spikes here and there, but not nearly as high as the ones before.

Vin-

Hey, I'm sorry i've been away for so long! Seems like you've been quite busy.

I just flashed V9 and I have to say WOW! What a jump!!! It is simply amazing! Thanks for all your hard work.

One thing I noticed though, is some programs are now missing. HTCTaskManager is gone, along with the registry editor. I don't know what else is missing. I looked at the version histories, and it doesn't talk about that stuff being stripped. Is it gone, or am I just blind?

To get it to work I have to log into Sprint power deck, minimize Opera, and click the lnk in the start menu. After that I can just run it by clicking the lnk. BTW, you can download about any song you want here w/out paying the buck.

this is not rom specfic. this is how it was designed. because there's current going into the phone and the phone uses battery, when it's plugged in the battery runs more current because there's electrolites that are charging and running around the battery.
