Yes, maybe the Dusk taskbars might work, but I want full color icons like on tsowens bar. Otherwise, why have a 65000 color screen, if you are just using B&W taskbar and sliders?
Here's the deal with the taskbars on a VZ system. At least under VZ's 6.1, the .dll that contained the icons for the speaker volume was coded differently than for Sprint. Basically, the pointers in the file were incorrect, so any of the commonly available taskbars that work for Sprint users won't work for Verizon users, volume control icon-wise. I'm presuming the same thing is happening under 6.5.

What is likely happening, along with the change for VZW's DLL icons, is that the icons are only changed in one place on other task bars. For the registry edit I posted to work properly, the icons have to be replaced within the shell dll that has all of the icons in it, and I'm guessing that most taskbars do not replace those icons for sound. I looked at a couple, and the stock icons were still there for volume and they were only replaced within the HTCVolumeControl.dll file, which doesn't matter with the reg edit. Given how long it takes to replace the icons in the files to make a custom taskbar, I don't see why people wouldn't take an extra minute or two to make sure all icons are changed as there are battery icons in the shell dll as well that I don't think most people change either.

I'm not sure all of the mods that were done to the tb's I have found work with Verizon, but the volume control issue was, at least in part, fixed by modding phcanOverbmp.dll (160-on, 161-vibrate, 162-silent).

If you're looking for a taskbar that will work with VZ 6.5, I found that Spike's 6.1 Taskbar edited by MightyMike for CDMA works great. I originally thought that a 6.1 taskbar wouldn't run under 6.5, but that's apparently not the case. If this is true, then the Yay4Juggs fixed by Silverkorn taskbar may work just as well. For VZ, make sure you get the one fixed by Silverkorn. It'll look just like the one in the first post.
