Agreed...
I flashed this rom for the radio and the only time I have even seen the 1x since is for a brief second when sending a text message (I seem to remember that someone said that text messages use 1x but I could be wrong).

Before this rom I was in 1x 90% of the time, I very rarely seen the 3G icon.

Yes I had been running a ROM from here and had no issue loading the official 6.5 Verizon code

I have tried both PurianS Tsowen Modded Taskbar.cab and tsowentaskbar6 WM6.5 version.cab, and both SORT of worked. All the icons appear except for the speaker icon. I just get a black square.

PuriaNs 21869 Blue Slider.cab worked, except I still get green bubbles.

Apristel BG4ALL - Animated Weather.cab worked for different wallpaper to allow the animation on the home screen.

So as much as I loved MM's stock and WAR roms, I am happy I can get my VZ Navigator again (which I am paying for) as well as the VZ apps website working again - not to mention SMS and MMS working without any extra tweaks. My only two wishes now, are to get the speaker icon back, and the green bubbles made blue.

Make the following registry change and that should fix the speaker icon:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\HTC\VolumeOverlay]
"LoadIconFromResDLL"=dword:00000001

There are slight differences between Verizon's and Sprint's implementation of the sound icon, which accounts for the error in TS Owen's.

I haven't THIS ONE this yet, but it's by Santod, who is on Verizon.

On Verizon the 3G is the same as EV so if you don't see the 1x then you are in 3G all of the time. There is a cab that I can't currently find that will change the EV to 3G on this site somewhere. Maybe under the attachments for Mighty Rom.

Thanks for the reply, I know that Ev and 3G are the same though. The taskbar that I am using does show it as 3G not Ev, what I was referring to is that I used to have the "Stuck in 1x" problem and now I don't. I am in 3G consistently now.
