Newer widcomm stack than any ROM currently has available. That should provide some enhancements for bluetooth.

Current roms have as high as 1.9.2.0400

Do you know if the newer radio provides any benefit over the one you use in your 'Official' release? Not sure if I should bother installing it..

Custom ROMs do not update the radio...

custom roms dont change the radio.so if you have never flashed a radio it still has stock.

in the "for what it's worth" category - the reception does seem to be working better for myself. Keep in mind, that is a function of radio + geography and not just radio. Heat seems to be less as well.
