Thanx again.

90% of the stuff is useless as my rom has newer packages.

I'm more interested in the T-Mobile update that was released today. That has slightly newer packages here and there.

I will be looking into the OEMDrivers base from Verizon though. That's where the real updates lie... on the backend of things.

Would the cleanup cab still work with this?

I figured such would be the case. Just thought it would help those phobic of custom ROMs or chefs may be interested in attributes I'm ignorant to.

custom roms dont change the radio.so if you have never flashed a radio it still has stock.

Yeah I realize that, sorry. So to reiterate my question:

What does this new radio provide that my 'stock' radio doesn't?

I would have assumed you guys could have figured out what I meant, at least disgust

Hard to tell without using it for a while, but newer radios tend to help with signal strength and battery life. It could be that this radio will also help with the users getting stuck in 1X as well. Since most people have just got the ROM/Radio, the actual benefits won't be known just yet.
