Dumb question. Could you flash this on an UNLOCKED sprint phone, run a sprint provisioning cab and be good to go on Sprint?

That is a BIG NO!!:violent1:

Re: Verizon OEM Update

On previous vzw updates for other phones, I recall that there were two .NBH files in the .exe file, one for the ROM and one for the radio. When I unzipped the .exe file for this one, there is only one .NBH file, so it looks like the radio is incorporated within the ROM update, and someone with skills is going to have to extract it if folks want just the radio.

I'm just going to load the whole thing to get the newer radio and play with it for a couple of days anyway, since I'm waiting for a MaxManilla update before changing from NRG's 28011 Sense 1921 ROM to the newer Sense 1922 ROM.

Re: Verizon OEM Update

I'm curious to know if the new radio fixes the voice-only network pop-up that appears on all custom 6.5 ROMs when the "Extended Network" ERI is shown. The only confirmed fix I've come across is to load a modified PRL that doesn't use the ERI. It only effects a small number of Verizon custom ROM users as most never roam off the Verizon owned/operated network so it hasn't gotten any attention by the ROM Chefs.

i can confirm the bluetooth works so much better now then before. Great improvment. hope chefs include it.

as far as no vzw.com or htc news i might guess this is just a 6.5 update/fix for some issues with the phone. Im guessing that there will still be a 6.5 release with newer senese etc. From a word of mouth from vzw IT department. So dont give up on them yet.

If it's unlocked, your bootloader version should be SPL-1.00.OliNex, look for that in the tri-colored screen (end/off + volume down + reset, release reset while holding the other two down).

On my VZW TP2, I just hold the volume down and red end call button at the same time until the bootloader pops up.
