just installed after moving from a few different roms, silence has left so i'm on to something else that's fast and doesnt' drain battery. this one is working well so far, i'll wait a week or two after r3 so the guinea pigs figure out any issues

Ok is anyone on Sprint noticing that the 3G arrows do not grey out for a VERY LONG time after a data session (they are supposed to after a data session is finished). I'm concerned about this because it could be a battery drain over time. I left Juicy's rom because i noticed this same issue.
I'll see how battery holds up over the day and decide what to do..

Also when in Internet Explorer, if you slide out the keyboard to type something (landscape mode) phone will freeze, become unresponsive and i have to take battery cover off and reset. Anyone else notice this?

As for this, its on the sms freezes up pretty bad. I still like this one more than mighty and juicey

Mine is now actually. I think it was the ATI driver I installed for the Diamond Hologram that broke it. I uninstalled the driver and SPRINT TV works now.

I'm still actually confused how the 2 cosmetic bugs occur, bc i've been on 6.5 roms with manila 2.1 and the data connection isnt always on nor does it have the email number overlap issue, so i'm assuming both issues are caused by manila 2.5.

this is very disappointing, i'm getting lots of freezes on this rom and the taskbar issue is annoying to say the least.

as for the poster using internet explorer, why not use opera? opera has it's own issues, it's limited to 3 tabs, and there is no X to close a tab instead you have to go into the tab selection to close it. really slows down closing popups. why is that? i haven't seen this implemented on any of the other roms.

footprints is an awesome fun program but the camera won't initialize for me, but the camera does if i go straight to the shortcut.

the rom is fast, battery seems to be pretty good, but these are programs that i use on a daily basis. i might have to wait for r3 to see if the bugs got worked out or bite the bullet and go back to silence rom with only sense 2.1. that rom worked very well but i really like sense 2.5

PS-any other suggestions for a stable ROM using sense 2.5? I am a heavy business user with tethering and all the other features of sense 2.5 need to work. and any lag is a killer when i'm using the phone so the rom has to be fast

I had tons of freezes and lockups when I first started using this ROM.

Try flashing to the stock Sprint ROM (I see you are on Sprint), then flash back to this ROM.
That took care of the problem for me.

I still see a few lockups, but they are only related to the SMS tab - everyone has this problem.
Before the trick of flashing to stock and back, I would lock up on almost any screen for seemingly no reason.

Very nice ROM, though not as smooth as Mighty at least for me, but the additional stuff and better visuals make it as good as it gets

So this will speed this up? Things are a little sluggish but usable. I love the ROM though!!!

It may speed it up.
The first couple times I flashed, I thought this ROM was terrible.
It was very slow, sluggish, and unstable.
I would have it take 20-30 seconds to change screens.
It would lock up 10-15 times a day.
Then someone suggested flashing to stock and then back to this ROM and it worked great for me.
