Installation Instructions

Your device requires HSPL Unlocking, Please read here before downloading
Download the file to your PC (link from first post)
Connect phone to PC via Activesync/WMDC
Make sure all device settings (Contacts, SMS, etc) are backed up
Unzip contents to a directory
Run Custom_RUU.exe and follow on screen instructions

Disable Manila SMS; use default WM version in Sense 2.1

Download attached .cab, install and reset.  Add to XDA_UC for future ease of use!

Sprint TV Add on

Code:

Install Sprint TV .cab and MrX .cab (attached) to enable Sprint TV

Reset device

Now your device will auto-lock on power off with the WM6.5 slide screen. (Thanks BigD5)

Control Weather Update Frequency

Install .cab's here or change the registry (thanks Notaliberal/WarlockW):

Dword Name:  Weather.AutoDownloadInterval
DWord Value: 30 (Decimal)
Change the value to whatever time you want in minutes. Reboot. Voila!

strange i tried mr x fix and my email still doesnt work and juggalor_x confirmed the fact that it has this effect. this is his pm to me below

Im aware of this issue, and just have not fixed it because it breaks sprint apps on some roms if i fix this issue. a work around is to simply run your email xml setup via fdcsoft task-manager again and this will fix the mail account. This is an issue with the modle ID changing from the time you used the xml to set up your mail to the time you install the cab. the model id of the device is changed to ensure sprints network sees it as a sprint device so you can use there tv software. There is no way of fixing this with out breaking sprint tv on any rom that does not cook in the sprint modle id. So i have left this in.

Use the work around i suggested.
