Mal,
GREAT job!!! This ROM is running faster and smoother than 2.1 IMO. All the programs are playing nice and it isn't losing as much memory as jan 14 either. Not to shabby for something you just threw together. The only thing that had me nervous was while installing all the cabs, it froze about 6 times and had to hit the reset button every time. But after that, not 1 problem. I have not reset it since then (almost 48 hours). The only thing I miss is the quick menu on the screen but can live without it.

are there updates instructions for XDA_ UC anywhere?

Or maybe instructions of things to do before reflashing?

I feel like I'm inefficient in the way I do these things.

Anyone one build 23518 having mms issues? I can't get a pic mail for some reason. Everything else is fine. I ran the "disable HTC messaging" cab, but not sure that did anything.

Install this cab, soft reset and you should be good to go.

on 6.53 2.1? if so i never had a mms issue or needed a "workaround" if its 2.5 then i missed that part.

Using the 6.5.3 2.5 rom my ringer keeps going out. The sms and email notifications still work, seems to be 2-3 hours of use.Ill see missed call and VM icons at the top, if i go to change the ringer ill get a message that the ringer is currupt. Doing a soft reset will kick the ringer back in but i missed a buttload of calls. Did use "zenyee disable htc messaging" but can duplicate the issue on a fresh hard reset with nothing installed

I've never required any workarounds for MMS on the MalROM 6.5.3 w/2.1. Mine works fine...
