Posted a new version of the 6.5.3 + Sense 2.1 ROM.

It's the exact same as before but fixes two potentially annoying bugs:

[!] Fixed Start menu distortion in 6.5.3 build when changing .tsk
[!] Fixed Manila Start Menu/Programs Tab in 6.5.3 build (wasn't working)
[+] Tapping upper Left corner displays Manila Start Menu ;-)

Both issues are now resolved in v1.5b6, available in the 1st post.

I'll have the 6.5.3 Titanium build up in...now.

WM6.5 + Sense 2.1 update coming in 60 minutes; Titanium version is not affected by these glitches.

never mentioned before but every new flash gives me a "/storage doesnt exist" error messae during the 1st boot. i have to remove the SD card and battery reset and restart the 1st configuration. once its done.. i cant insert the sd card and go with my sashimi stepp. what gives?

Try backing up your storage card and then reformatting it.

Mal, I love your work. I'm not looking for trade secrets, just wondering what's different on your ROM that might cause this........Every version of yours that I've flashed won't ring until I go in and select the current or a different ringer.

Anyone else experience this, or am I messing something up?

Oh, Forgot to mention, I've only ever installed your 6.5.3 2.1 version.

yeah, i've noticed that too. Not sure what the deal is but bet it's tied to me setting the default ringer and Manila--the two are "seeing" different things. By which I mean go into Manila, Settings, Sounds tab after a flash and you'll see the ringer name as a bunch of junk--that's what is causing it.

Manila is a huge PTIA to work with. There's sooo many components, .rgu entires, .reg entries, version numbers, builds...and getting them to all work together is a huge undertaking. Soon as you change one part, it effects all others.

I'll try and trouble shoot it this weekend.

Thanks for the quick reply. I can imagine the PITA manilla is. I've never messed with it, and I couldn't even stand using it until 2.1 came around.
It's only my opinion, but since touchflo was developed, I've always thought that HTC does a good job making things look nice, but a terrible job optimizing their programs to run properly and not hog a boatload of RAM.

I hope you are getting some sleep Mal. Don't kill yourself for us ! lol I reflashed this morning. So far it's awesome as always. I've had the ringer issue to but I remember to go in and set it as soon as i flash now. Small price to pay.. haha.

Mal - the 6.5.3 Titanium is running GREAT! Noticed just one thing - the call history screen isn't positioned right - not far enough up (I can see my wallpaper between the top taskbar and the call history screen, and the icons are cut off some on the bottom). Is there a way to fix this? I included a screenshot! Thanks!



Oh and a request if you don't mind? Is there a way to get the cleaner/newer taskbar icons that are found in other roms? Besides those 2 things - this rom is PERFECT! I'm going to be sticking to yours for now on! A small donation will be heading your way later, just need to see how much I have left over from paying bills! lol
