How do I disable the received text message notification? It kinda interrupts a text i'm replying to or if I'm doing something lol. So far I love this ROM though. Extremely fast and no problems as of yet.

I know fixes for the sent notification, but the receiving notification i've never run into before lol.

silence.... great job on the latest 012 release! so far this is the best rom i've found yet, it's really fast and very stable. You made my favorite tp1 rom and now it's my favorite tp2. I haven't had a single issue with this rom, my only gripe is no kitchen yet seriously though, GREAT WORK!

Does anyone know how to get groovefish to work on the TP2 with this rom. I have been trying since last night. I dl the 3.2 version with the supposed fix but it just doesn't work? Other people have gotten it to work with no problem. For me it just stays on the search and never comes up with any results and then it doesn't want to close. Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: Found a Fix. Download netcfcfg.cab and use that to allow groovefish to run on .net 3.5 and now it is working.

I asked a few days ago about getting the Manila Start Menu to work on 012.
The cab in the FAQ does not work. I was wondering if anyone has got this to work or has a fix or cab that will work with this ROM.
Loving the ROM Silence, looking forward to the next release.

Look through silences ext log and see if he includes "enlarge start menu"

That is required for the manila start menu

Can someone tell me why i can't see my picture messages through HTC Messaging? I want my MMS back. Can someone tell me how I can view them? I have the server setup and everything.

I looked and its different then what yours looks like. I tried your cab and maybe thats why it doesn't work? Your ROM has a few more entries. Silence has only got 1 registry under "enlarge start menu". I've changed the registry from 0, 1 ,2 and none of them worked.
I checked his Package List and could not find anything that says Manila Start Menu or Enlarge Start Menu. I guess he may not have included it.
But why would that registry be there if it wasn't in the ROM?

I took tommyr and mikezpc 's advice and took out the SD card and flashed back to the stock rom then flashed to mightyrom and then flashed back to silence..... and it has been flawless ever since. I didnt do anything out of the ordinary with the phone for it to cause that type of problem and have no idea what happened.

i do this at least once a month to keep everything smooth and it does make a difference even if you dont install to the card. (can happen sicne photos and such are saved from phone to there and vice versa. but anyways clear out your card once a month of the junk and reformat and than drag the stuff back over. this helps a lot with those random errors since some scripts from a rom or program can be stored on there causing conflicts. it also makes your device run a lil faster and smoother as well as boot up faster.

start/settings/sounds and notifications than go to new message and uncheck the box for this and email that says pop up when received.

after using all the roms .. i stayed with the 2.1 silence rom .. thank you silence keep up the hard work ..
