PROBLEM!! I flashed silence rom 12 yesterday. Everything was fine and then a few hours after flashing, i started to add my cab program back onto my device from the SD card. During the middle of it, my phone froze and wouldnt budge. I took out the battery waited for 30 or so seconds and placed it back in and turned it on. the screen doesnt seem to want to pass the part at the beginning of start up where it says touch pro 2..... it just sits their. I've placed the phone in bootloader mode in order to re-flash my phone, but once again it work for a little while then freezes again, I've even tried a different rom... anyone have any suggestions for me please... i miss my phone.

first advice is to put phone in bootloader mode and flash stock rom

Thanks i will try that.... uhm where would i get a stock telus touch pro 2 rom?

i also suggest pulling out your sim card, and your sd card, replace the sim card (keep the sd out), then power back on, if still stuck try a hard reset, if not then bootloader, back to stock, then flash back to whatchu like

Just remember that telus is a fake copy repackaged by a user. Not a signed copy from your carrier.

Did anyone else have the Youtube audio problem where no sound is there. I would like to get back to Silence because I trust stability of his work. Thank you for your input.

Ive been using the test 2.5 rom for a while and switched to the latest 2.1, on the 2.5 rom when i would get a youtube link it would open the youtube app. With the 2.1 rom it opens streaming media, its that a 2.5 feature ?

Quick question about the 2.5 mail tab, is the e-mail display supposed to be as small as it is? I flashed with your 2.5 ROM and looked at the email tab, & the email display almost goes the lengh of the screen.

Then I flashed to v011 and added the email tab (linked above), now when I go to the e-mail tab, the email display is a lot shorter in lengh.

Is this supposed to be like this? or did I do something wrong?
by the way, I did a Hard reset after flashing each version of the ROMs

Has the "shorter" 2.5 email display issue been remedied? It's as if it's VGA rather than WVGA...

I uninstalled the cab hoping for a fix, don't know of a fix yet. Hopefully there will be one released/shared soon as this ROM is a keeper =D>
