yes all you have to go to is start/settings/personal/sounds and notificatiions/ than to the text and email from the dropdown and uncheck the box that says turn on screen when received.

yup thats the silencerom im running with the dusk theme linked in the description to the right of the video... you can install all from that thread for 2.1 if running the 2,1 version or 2,5 id running 2.5 but the dialers if you are cdma.. i foudn both the dialer and the keyboards to cause conflicts. but there is a cdma remake around the boards here at ppcgeeks that you can get a working dialer and possibly all black keyboard for. and you are right, i have been pushing this rom onto everyone and they all stil love it, hell i dont think i have reset once in a period shorter than 3 days straight which is just amazing. i cant wait to see what versin 012 has in the mix. thanks again for all the hard work on the silencerom series.

Maybe I'm missing something but I don't have that option in my menu. I have "Display message on screen" but thats not what I meant. Thanks for replying tho.
