been using the 24001 test rom, on incoming calls the slide to answer will not connect the call...........in other words, will not answer the call.

I agree with that........had been using 24001 for almost a day and hadn't made any calls.

I just tested this and with the phone even locked I could still use the slider to answer the call I am on 24001. Not sure why this is not working for you.

Yeh, i'm the same way, lol. And that's why i have testers some times as i totally forget to try or test things that to other people are daily must haves.

I hope tonight, just got back in a little bit ago. Had a few things to take care of today, again.... Actually started snowing on my way back home, i'm crossing my fingers the power doesn't go out or worse the DSL goes down again, lol (not to jinx myself or anything, lol). Really just trying to not just throw an update out every other day. I really want to make the updates more significant and not just a new SYS with a tweak here or there if you know what i mean. Don't get me wrong, i'm just as much a flash junkie as the next ppcg'er, but i value my roms and updates as well as you guys and gals. And i feel at this point that i'm finally starting to get to the point to where my base files, ideas, and direction is going good and the way i want. I really believe i could have squeezed a little more performance out of 1922 but oh well. The MH flashing mob has spoken i guess ;) I'm currently stuffing the carrier cabs with MMS settings (so you don't have to load those cabs after first boot since i'm not cooking individual carriers anymore) and cleaning some cobwebs from other stuff to help speed some things up.

Yeah, no later than Friday night, i'm hoping tomorrow as my schedule is clear during the day, so far..... I've had alot going on during the day time hours the last couple of days, which is good for me, unfortunately it makes everyone here wait a little longer for the update, but..... well i do have things i have to take care of, i have to keep the lights and internet on.....:geek: Usually it's not this bad as i work from home most days, but i have been having to stray outside the house for stuff lately.

I use PPCKitchen, so if you really want to start cooking your own head over there and take a look around. I am pretty active on that site as well.

A report on 28519 sense 2.5. I just tried to make a call (who would think it) and the phone dial would not come up. Just a blank space below the contacts list?????

Could not get it any way, either using hard or soft keys.

Finally thought about a soft reset (haven't had to do that on your ROMS so it didn't occur to me right away) which seemed to fix the problem.

Just a thought on the kitchen. I used to use PPCK to cook for my apache until I got the TP2. May have to try again.

Snow didn't bother it. But i did have to call and have a tech dispatched to my house for tomorrow. I have been noticing some lag here and there on streaming videos and big downloads and basically my noise profile is screwed up again on the dsl line. Probably because they screwed something up on the main line when it got severed last week. Last time this happened my line was crossed with someone elses and the noise profile was out of sync as you need to be within a certain range. Doesn't really affect me that much except when i want to watch hulu or netflix, or upload or download a big file. Uploads and downloads just take longer cuz the speed will throttle down intermittently. Only a minor annoyance, and should be fixed when the tech comes out tomorrow morning. Really has no effect on my making roms though, just might mean an extra 10 or 20 mins on the upload when i do though.

Just finished rearranging my home office, lol, not that that matters. But i also just flashed the first test build. So it's real close, exact time tonight depends on how well this flash goes.

Yeah, just call the DSL hotline. If you go to your routers ip address and run the full test it should pass all tests except for the last, which it will fail on which is the IP test. When you call, make sure they don't try and tell you you need to call the phone company because it's the phone line. They did that to me last time and this time, just tell them no, it's your DSL and say that you can't stream video or download large files or something to that effect. A tech will be dispatched, and he will check the main junction for crosses and then come to your house, use a fancy noise tester on your line and modem, call in to his center and have them change your noise profile until it's within range. Hope that helps, lol.

Ok, putting it through the paces now, seems ok so far. Maybe another flash or two and i will upload a test for ya'll. Unless it's super duper ready to go, lol.

Also, on a side note, i thought about making my own provisioning app that will provision your phone and search your sd card for cabs and list them. Not sure when I will get to this. But if anyone uses VB08 and knows the .netCF platform and wants to help out, as it would help get it out quicker as i have a new theme and softkeys i want to put out this weekend too. I finally found the image i have been looking for for weeks now. It was on a really old hd on the shelf, lol.

Dibbs, another thing I noticed while trying out some other Roms while waiting for your releases, is that Youtube works well in them and has a nice quality picture. No need for changes for fast download and a lower resolution to avoid slo-mo....Have you been able to get a fix on this?

I think that the sprint tv and youtube issues are related. It's something with the core kitchen files, as a bare build with nothing but the sys still does not work. So, i'm still trying to figure out what file or files in the kitchen are causing this. Also, flashing now, if this flash is good, i will be uploading a test. Although, i have not tried sprint tv or youtube with all these new files. As the rhodiumW core files have been tweaked alittle too now.

I vote 24001.......There is already a good 21890 build out there from another chef. I don't think there are many good 6.5.x roms out there though........
