Testing it out now. This rom seems a lot more stable using manila 2.5 than the energyrom. I have really enjoyed it so far. I have encountered a few minor bugs though. I am sometimes unable to change the wallpaper, the screen will pause as if it is accessing the wallpapers then kick me back out of wallpapers to the home screen. It only happens sometimes though. Also htc audio manager can't find my music. I don't think that's the rom however, I remember reading this problem before, I just have to find the fix for it. Overall this is excellent work lunacie and I look forward to having landscape functionality.

My only complaint and the only reason why I'm going back to indagroove's ROM is while I'm scrooling across the tabs the popup picture and name for the tab is not centered. I chose indagroove's ROM because that was the one that worked the best for me, I tried for a month to download Energy ROM just to be disappointed. Altogether that ROM is ridiculously buggy for me it's not smooth whatsoever

Sincere apologies to all who got a bad link - it's been fixed now, with the added bonus of a brand spankin' new build!

lunacieROM Version 28005-23 is live now, with several neat updates, including Amarullz' Messaging enhancement, and a badass fake-landscape for Manila SMS tab (like music & album). More improvements coming, keep up the great comments & suggestions, they're really helping me home in on what needs work.

And a VZW / Lite version is in the works now, I'm in the process of building a new Kitchen for it, probably have a day or two more work to do.

In the meantime, any VZW users out there flashing the 'heavy' rom, make sure you use PagePool_Changer.exe to change the pagepool from '0' to somewhere between 6 and 12mb (I suggest - this will free up a good bit of memory.

Thanks for giving it a try, glad it's working out so far. I have that same problem with the wallpapers, as do a ton of others.

One way to deal with this is to open the album, then hit the 'home' hard button on your TP and change the wallpaper - should access the album then. I've had it not come up occasionally even doing this, but 90% of the time it works.

Most reliable way to change is via registry.

1) Open dotFred taskmanager (comes in the ROM - just called taskmanager in the 'start' menu)

2) In the upper right hand corner of the program there's a drop down arrow, click that, opens a menu, all the way at the bottom (you'll have to scroll to it) is 'registry' which opens the registry editor.

3) Navigate to HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila and change the registry value for 'HomeBackgroundPath' to the path and filename of the background you wish to use, or delete the entire registry value if you want to go back to the default (but don't delete the whole key - just the path & filename).

I'll look into a longer term solution for this - it's high on my to-do list.

Regarding the music, I'm not exactly sure why that is. I've exprienced the same thing, too, but for the last two builds (since I posted the ROM publicly) it's been working 100% on my system. Try the new build (on page 1) and see if that helps.

Indagroove's ROM is fantastic, for sure, and one of the inspirations for me making a public ROM. I've been fascinated with his 2.5 builds every since the very first super-buggy beta versions, salivating for the day VGA 2.5 would be stable.

I should have the un-centered Manila 'hero' tab pics straightened out in the next build (not the one I just posted) as I know the problem and just need enough time to labor through the fix.

Oh, also working on integrating the latest SYS into my Kitchen(s) - 28008, so that should be a go for the next update as well (a couple days from now, probably).
