One way to deal with this is to open the album, then hit the 'home' hard button on your TP and change the wallpaper - should access the album then. I've had it not come up occasionally even doing this, but 90% of the time it works.

Most reliable way to change is via registry.

1) Open dotFred taskmanager (comes in the ROM - just called taskmanager in the 'start' menu)

2) In the upper right hand corner of the program there's a drop down arrow, click that, opens a menu, all the way at the bottom (you'll have to scroll to it) is 'registry' which opens the registry editor.

3) Navigate to HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila and change the registry value for 'HomeBackgroundPath' to the path and filename of the background you wish to use, or delete the entire registry value if you want to go back to the default (but don't delete the whole key - just the path & filename).

I'll look into a longer term solution for this - it's high on my to-do list.

Regarding the music, I'm not exactly sure why that is. I've exprienced the same thing, too, but for the last two builds (since I posted the ROM publicly) it's been working 100% on my system. Try the new build (on page 1) and see if that helps.

Thanks for the reply, I can easily change the wallpaper via the registry. I have to get the music working, that would be a dealbreaker for me. I'll try this new build, hopefully the issue will be resolved.

haven't tried the new build yet, but was wondering a few things before i do. when i try to reply to an SMS with the manila app, i get an error saying that my SIM card is missing. Weird i know, but i have attached a picture to show you. and the other bug i have is that when i try to update my PRL by hand my device just resets itself and does not take the update. i flash back to indagroov's and it takes the update fine. anyone else have this problem?

Other than that this ROM is quite smooth, and nice to use. I'm looking forward to what is to come.

Lunacie I've also come across some of the programs that was cooked in not working

1. Youtube- I can search for the video but can't seem to play. says "Error this video cannot be played.

2. Grooveshark- after inputting the info on the search button, clicked searched and it just hangs there.

3. Sprint TV- I know every chef leaves this out due to carrier's. But I can't seem to get this working with the Manilia 2.5. Other Rom's I've delt with seem's to work after installing the cab and changing the connections to SprintPCS. But with this it's still giving the error code #7004.

And for Battery life this Rom is pretty good. I've had it charged to 90% at 3:30 yesterday and I was browsing the web for at least 4 hr before the entire phone shut down. This by the is not too bad. I think I'll be rocking this ROM for quite some time now. Again thank you!!!

Sorry for a rediculous question but how to I go about changing the pagepool? I've read about Dynamic vs. Static Ram in one of these forums somewhere. I just want to test it out myself to see if there is any difference when changing the pagepool. Here is what I did about changing it.

1. Open the file using winrar on mydesk top and putting the ruu.nbh with the pagepool changer on my desktop.
2. Open pagepool changer/select the .nbh file and change the pagepool to my likely. save and closed.
3. change the .nbh file to RAPHIMG.nbh and place it on my storage card. Tried flashing with the storage card and nothing happens.

Can someone let me know if I'm doing it wrong, if so could you please guide on how to do it . Much appreciate it.

The new build uploaded last night has resolved this issue for me. I love the new messaging too. I can't seem to get facebook to integrate into some of my contacts.

After changing the pagepool and saving, activesync your phone (or put it in bootloader mode) and run Custom_RUU.exe. That should work.

I don't seem to have the fake SMS landscape tab. Anyone else see it?

Thanks jordant2 that worked out wonderful. I've changed the pagepool to 24, it's now much quicker when using the slider to slide back and fourth. Also have notice the texting using stylius is much more snappier.
