am i mssimg something here? landscapes been around as an add-on since like november.. works for me on my TP1

I highly advise against the landscape "fix". It will bork your home tab so that when it's scrolled up to access the shortcuts, they will appear over top the clock, and tapping them instead accesses whatever is located on that same spot on the clock screen.

Yeah this rom does kick ass so far, but i'm having that "message not correct format msg. 2106" error pop up to when i use messenger... I used InDaGrooves rom an his said "SIM Card Not Inserted" w/o the 2106 error, perhaps theres a way to combine the two HTCMessengers and have it work somehow..?? Is there even a workaround for this..??

Same here. Haven't figured out how to fix this so far. I google'd this, and read where kimi_sae_ireba and yozgatg at XDA have a solution. For now, your best bet is to use Outlook Messaging to send text message replies. If you can figure out how to disable the Sense IM UI, that would be a better solution, IMO.

Yeah I searched through their threads same with Azarull <~~ sp ?

He supposedly had a fix for it, but the only fix I found wasn't for that error message it was for something else... Hopefully we can figure this out, that'd just be one more functional aspect check mark to put up, to make these new 2.5 roms even more bad ass...!!

To get the Games icon back, add the following String key to HKLM/Security/Shell/StartInfo/Start/Games:

EDIT: Just tested it out, doesn't seem to wanna install... It says "Incorrect device or version or previously installed. This hotfix will only support HTC Touch Pro ver2.01.651.6 . 0x30" Than I later read that apparently theres another issue with the #'s "2016" but it's an incorrect date entry thats stamped in peoples SMS convos so that must be the fix also going around... Kinda confusing if you ask me lol... Msg. 2106 error and Sms. '2016 error...

Both yozgatg and kimi_sae_ireba at xda have both been instrumental in helping me find a fix for it. It was a thread suggested by kimi that eventually got me where I needed to be:

I ended up installing the v2 beta3 files using Mortscript, and it works like a charm! It disables the Sense IM client, and uses the native poutlook client instead. SMS messages no longer appear on the Messaging tab, but the unread SMS message count icon still does. If you click on the notification of a new SMS message, poutlook messaging is invoked instead, which is a lot more responsive than the Sense UI, especially when you have a long history of text messages to someone. To add icing on the cake, you can still use the Sense Messaging UI to compose or reply to an SMS message displayed on the messaging screen, and the 2106 error is no longer returned. The recipient indeed gets your text.

One caveat: The mortscript assumes all files in the zip file are in one folder, but they end up in separate folders after unzip (I think each folder represents a language, with 0409 being English). Being unsure of which ones were needed, I copied the script into each folder and ran it from each folder. You may also need to use Total Commander to perform any copy operations the script failed on due to permissions (the script writes into the \Windows folder).

Anyway, follow the instructions exactly as amarullz mentions, and the fix should work for you.
