Re: [ROM][11-28]WM 6.5.1 23511 Manila 2.1/2.5 & Titanium [UC/Sashimi]
Hey drew, thank you for your offer. It is very kind of you. Unfortunately I cannot chat because I am at work during the day. What radio are you using? Perhaps a quick little upgrade will fix the issue.

honestly the best radio for you, i cannot tell ya. but i am a sprint user in the midwest, using the latest verizon radio & its night & day between the stock radio. battery life is better, i can only assume this is b/c reception is better as well. i'm a firm believer in having the latest updates all around in every aspect i can. besides it takes 2 minutes to update your radio & doesn't "wipe" any data off the phone doing it. give a couple of them a shot until you find the one that works best for your area/carrier.

My thought would be your pim backup is not compatible with something in the ROM.. things in my rom arent very standard so it is not surprising that for example a backup from, say, calkulin's rom applied to mine would break something.
What all have you included in your backup? side note: 28008 titanium only (I am getting back to my roots ![]() ![]() |

Anyway, I looked in the Registry, using TotalCommander, and seem to be unable to edit the registry values mentioned, and don't even have the ones "People.MessageClient.Disable"=dword:00000001 ; "People.Message.IsCDMA"=dword:00000001 at all. What gives? I'm thinking if I can find these two I can disable the Manilla SMS client and revert back to the stock WM one? I would love to be able to do that. Any suggestions? TIA, Malachi |
