when on the main tp cdma rom page, look up rstg's sense rom but click on the paperclip--you'll see a list of cabs loaded to rstg's thread--look for the sms fix there----i posted a fix on page 4 or 5 fyi

EDIT: Page 3--disable HTC messaging will fix your sms probs

Another quickie...

Weather..... There are a few (very few) cities to choose from. Before I had my location set to my lil hometown and the phone picked it up and gave me the weather. But after a flash dance it never can download the weather info. Ive went to google maps and put several locations in (if this even matters?) and it wont use any of them for "My location"

It appears to only want me to choose from the list provided which only has 2 cities in Mississippi. Neither of which do I live near.

Is there a step in the process im missing?

In the following post you mention that you shut down several apps to reduce the amount of RAM used. How do you do that? I am running this ROM on a gimped VZW TP and I am running at 98.6 MB. The ROM is the best to date, but I would like to run a little more lean. Thanks in advance for your help...someone that actually knows what they are doing and uses a VZW TP...its rare.

i gotta say this is probably the most stable rom with 2.5 i have used yet,since my lack of ram im always sr due to memory leaks on other 2.5 roms, this 1 i have not idled higher than 73% and thats after shutting down several apps, other roms idle alone without having opened apps was like 78% and would slowly rise to around 89% - 92% which is just not acceptable,having to use freeram apps. before any kind of heavy use gets old quick....

Hey RSTG...I just flashed this ROM yesterday and so far I LOVE IT! I am a typical Energy Addict. I am always looking for his new releases. This was a nice change. Thanks for the ROM.
One quick question, is there a way to get the new Windows Default lock? I have it set to windows default in the settings, but it is still showing the Windows Classic. I have tried cycling between the 2 and after the restarts...the classic shows both ways.

I think I took the lock out for my MobileShell rom and the S2A dialer. Now that I've switched dialers, I'll seek out a lock program on friday and update this rascal!

I love that Sense 2.5 is getting more play on the TP and the ports are getting better (I hear landscape is on the way soon). I'm a Psyki/Psyklone fan but I'm eyeballing this ROM pretty good, might flash for fun this weekend, hope you get a new update out by Friday .

ok first off to free up some ram htc addicts clean ram sucks!!!! use this instead (sktools) after installed you will see 4 apps, autoclean, reg. edit, sktools, and freeram, i always delete the other three cause i never need them, i only use the FREEEAM app. upon first use you will see 3 out 4 options highlighted, check the unchecked 1 and clean,first use you won't see much ram free up cause it opens up a help page,close it and clean again, this should net you in the mid 70% range, if your @ 98% before you use this sr first and clean once 2.5 sense is done launching and you will see how well this app works when you check the tm in corner
