The character count has been removed because that's what was determined way back when to cause the lag while entering a text message. I can't remember off the top of my head but there's like 2 files that have been altered to remove it.

Ah, thanks for filling me in. If anyone's interested, here's an interesting post containing a cab file which limits your text message to 160 or 140 characters:

Anyone know how to change the default browser from IE to Opera when you press the FN+BROWSER shorcut combo on the keyboard?

I installed Opera 10 Final to storage card and set it as default browser when asked, but the keyboard shortcut still opens IE.
