*Updated March 5th* NFSFAN's Custom WM6.5.5 ROMs

yeah, i actually found that it was downloading the file, but then throwing the error. The file is saved to \temp\, but not moved to \windows\. if i move it manually, quickgps detects it and says its updated, but the manual update still doesn't work.

Assuming you have HTC location services turned on, I think I would uninstall Quick GPS and the Alltel provisioning cab then reinstall the provisioning cab - restart - reinstall Quick GPS - restart. See if this helps.

BTW, are you able to use mms and data functions with no issues?

I dont use MMS, but data works fine.
