Hi,

I couldn't get GPS to work. I have Verizon:
1. installed the cab in the first post
2. Set COM4 in GPS program port
3. None & 4800 in Hardware

I don't get a satellite fix! I even tried QuickGPS download.

Appreciate any help!

Do you have location setting turned on in the phone settings area?

Yes, it's ON in phone->location and in Location settings. HTC location service is also enabled.

if you go into system tools and GPS viewer, click scan...It should find that 4 has GPS, then click open GPS and let us knwo if you find anything in the status window....

Yes, it finds COM4, 4800. Keeps printing a bunch of text. The GPS status tab shows "Acquiring: No Fix".

For verizon you will need to install lllboredlll's gps hack

Thanks! I'll give it a shot. Looks like my problem may be related to the fact that my carrier is PagePlus....

I have a feeling the update will be posted today. A month after the last release.

RIGHT ?????
