My last rom was NFSFAN's WM 6.5.3 21869 SYS/XIP (11/24/2009)
and it was very fast,responsive and very good rom
But this rom 1.01B it's run a quite slowly
so i back to my favorite rom 1.00

Sorry Man..It must be you. If 1.01B is slow then 1.00 must do time travel. This Rom is incredibly fast (compared to other ROMS) and stable. Can't wait for 1.02B to be posted!

On a semi-related note, the "Calkulin's Manila 2.5 Slider Icons.cab" has been problem free on TF3D2.1 on this ROM.

just installed 1.02b its really fast. The speed is so noticable. gonna slap a opera10 beta2 and see how it run. would like a bigger page pool.

Flashed 1.02B here, no probs and runnin smooth. This also fixed my multiple duplicate "Outlook Email" titanium pages but I think that was bogus to begin with and reflashing 1.01 would have probably fixed it.

The only thing I dislike is TaskFacade because of how slow it is to have both a combination of holding the back key plus the slowness of the app itself. I really miss the old task manager but I realize that the UI overhaul makes it impossible.

Here's the HTC task manager if you want to install it. You can search on any other task manager you like and install those as well.

Loving this ROM. However there is an issue. As an example... can't go to ppcgeeks.com on Opera 10 while TF3D is on. Reboots my device. Is there anyway for me to increase the memory that TF3D uses? I've heard Verizon users have the disadvantage in the area of memory.

I just got duplicate e-mail accounts in TouchFlo and it wouldn't bring up the envelope graphic even after soft reset. I'm pretty sure it was because I started setting up e-mail during the initial config screens instead of just skipping them and the auto-config stuff interrupted me. I did a hard reset and left it alone during initial config and all is good.

Was excited for this new release and so far am not dissappointed. Easily the fast 6.5 ROM I've ever used and the first one that I think is as fast as the better 6.1 ROM's. Can't speak to stability yet, but I was using 1.01b and stability was great so hopefully this one will be too. Thanks NFSFAN! =D>

Read the original post about Taskman and back button or something like that. I actually got rid of Taskman and use AE Button Plus and remap single presses of the up volume button to the taskmanager and long press to volume up, then down button to rotate screen of course not necessary with the autorotate.

I use showcase RC2... RC2 is before the developer started integrating showcase with the taskbar, the toolbar integration has been problematic. Showcase (RC2) is finger friendly, blends well w TF3D, it just works and is very responsive.

If you do switch to a different taskbar pull task facade out of the startup folder... if you don't it will continue to run in the background grabbing a screenshot of every app you have open.

Keyboard config is built into this rom... I'd recommend using it over AE button plus. I've found it to be more reliable and stable then AE Button and it allows you to map any hardware button.

The taskbar fascade is definitely not praticale eventhought it looks nice and stuff. takes like 3-4 sec to find an opened app. Nothing beats the speed and smoothness of htc task manager.

I don't think it's possible to use the HTC task manager because it depended on the old style taskbar. I would love it if there was a dedicated softkey in titanium to open a task manager.

hi im running the latest Dec 05 rom and ive tried to install the task manager you posted but couldn't get it to work bacause the clock is always displayed in the taskbar. Anyways, how did you get it to work?

You won't be able to get it working... On the new 6.5 builds with the UI changes its impossible. If it wasn't so, I wouldn't bother incorporating TaskFacade; which by the way is the most practical task manager to include with the new 6.5 builds.

Fantastic ROM!!! I'm still some-what of a noob on PPCG but i have tried a many ROMs lately and i always flash back to yours. Alwasy smooth and stable and easy for a beginner like me to use without the need for a 1,000 quirks and edits. HAd alot of trouble with Landscape mode with other ROMs on the WM6.5 so im overly excited that yours is near perfection.

Yeah I couldn't agree more... I went to NRG's ROM for a while, he makes some beautiful ROMs... but I'm back to NFS for the speed, stablility and battery life.

I got a lot of good ideas for themes and visual tweaks from NRG but I realized I'd much rather have a solid base that can be customized with the visual tweaks that I like.

So, NFS, thanks, the work is much appreciated.

Okay no problem. I like Task Facade! & I love the ROM... only problem i still have it which may require some registry edits is when i click on a link from internet explorer for a streaming video it does not open the application and if it does it doesnt connect to the internet. Any solution that you know of?

ok i got a few problems with this release 1 sms /mms is broke. not receiving any messages at all. i installed that arcsoftg and that did not help either. 2. telephone on random, speaker does not work. when i get incoming calls. so far it has happened 5 times.3. picture viewer from the titanium does not work. it loads instead the album for a brief second then says unable to load image type and thats it. it happens all image types, gif, jpg etc.anyone else have these problems? ;(i think i am gonna rollback

Thank You so much for this ROM .... I love it ... no problems what so ever after downloading the mms cab from another post ..... everything works great with the alltel network. your ROM is so fast it is unbelievable (the mms cab is attached since i had a little trouble finding one that was simple and easy to install for alltel .... all you do is install the cab and then soft reset and then check server settings) again thanks =D>

agreed. and working well. the first time i flashed, hard reset and had texting problems like the others are reporting. one more hard reset and its been dynamite ever since.

My sms is working now. I reloaded the rom again(i had loaded a different rom to test). THen did the normal clear storage, blah blah blah.

Once everything was up and running, i ran teh Sprint Provisioning cab and the Zenyee disable htc cab.
