Re: EmpiROM - Featuring TellMe & WM6.5.1 - Fast, Stable, Sleek. For Touch Pro.
First off - please don't take this as complaining! Trying your ROM actually spawned my last post.
I tried RootBase2.1 which I heard was the best option for VZW users. First thing I noticed was that like other 6.5.x roms (save EmpiROM) the soft button icons are... skinned wrong? IE - menu and delete look same in inbox, start menu icon and lock icon are same, etc. I don't know how Josh fixed this, and it's a small thing as long as no one else tries to use my phone. I love Sense, but it seemed I booted with less free memory than EmpiROM. I couldn't even begin to browse in Opera before I ran out of memory. So I diabled TF3D... ...which didn't turn out well. Apparently when disabling TF3D, the base today screen doesn't show the start menu button! I couldn't find any way to access my start menu, and with nothing useful installed on my today screen, I had to hard reset so I could use file explorer to replace the RAPHIMG file on the storage card so I could reflash and use my phone again Again - Rootlinux I know you do great work! I fully blame VZW for +^(4ing the Touch Pro. Anyone want to solder some extra memory on the PCB for me? Last edited by phillipdhall; 02-03-2010 at 04:59 PM. |
