fyi, those using darkness switcher, spb is a large program so switching from manila to ms takes a bit just because of the size of ms, going from ms to manila is pretty quick. nice find num5kull-----running ms AND manila 2.1 at the same time!!!!

yeah seems pretty useful for users wanting to switch between the 2 UI's

Did the phone UI change as well, or am I going crazy?

Nope, ms runs on top of manila--you'll notice all of RSTG's programs and folders are there (from the start menu) and if you load the switcher, manila is still there. imo ms is just an easier way to interact with windows. but the base ui is still there--you're just changing how you interact with it.

And if you are referring as to why MobileSence looks so different than standard mobile shell---it just widgets. ms is still there are running just like normal, there's just different widgets placed in specific orders (layering) to give the hero/android look. So everything you love about ms is still there--in fact, you can deconstruct the hero/android look by "edit layout" and make it look just the the normal ms theme.

Actually, I meant the phone app itself, guess I have a bad habit of being unclear. I liked the older app better, which would let you choose between someone's home/cell/email/txt by hitting left/right on the d-pad, and had a different "curtain" (or not at all).

not in mobile shell, in the actual phone application
it now looks something like this: , when it used to look like this: (note the arrows signifying that you can scroll left & right to access the other numbers/addresses for that contact)

After going back to stock, have had ZERO problems. (Am running SPB MS 3.5.2 on top of latest stock ROM)

Two other troubles I had with this ROM:

1. All picture mail arrived with a date in year "41" (Assumed to be 1941 [not 2041], as they all went to the bottom of my messages) After re-flashing stock ROM, they arrive with correct time stamps.

2. I had 3 voicemails that I received no notification of. Immediately after re-flashing stock ROM, it showed 3 new voicemails. When I checked them, the were 1-3 days old.

Would love to try this newer version of the ROM, but only if the above issues have been resolved. (Not to mention the hard-reset-on-every-boot issue)

now i'm confused, is this a mobile shell issue or a sense 2.1-2.5 issue. moble shell has it's own contact page that lists all ways of contacting a chosen contact, email, sms, mms, home phone, cell phone----this doesn't look like mobile shell
