Can you tell us what the benefits/drawbacks are between the Com3 build and the Com5 one?

Re: [10/27/09] Longhorn ROM 23502 and 23081

I am running 23081 now, what's this about "Beta expires 12/1/09?"

Not a big deal since I seem to be flashing ROMs weekly- just curious.

So far, I like the time you put into organizing the apps for us.

The background kinda reminds me of Star Trek, the only thing missing is the Enterprise on the horizon...

Sounds like someone forgot the patched shell32.exe.

Is the Back Arrow Icon in the Start Menu working correctly? It doesn't seem to do anything when I enter a folder such as "System Tools"

VK will patch shell32.exe but that text is just a key in the registry. It's the rgu in \Shared\Common\Shell, just delete (or modify if you want) this key:

Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Device Beta]
"Today"="Beta"
"Expiry"="Expires: %02d/%02d/%04d"

Re: [10/27/09] Longhorn ROM 23502 and 23081

I'm dl'ing 23502 right now. I'd like to hear if the 23081 is any better.

Thanks for all of your hard work Longhorn!

Cheers

Re: [10/27/09] Longhorn ROM 23502 and 23081

Is the Android setup part of 23081, 23502 or both?
