I'll be honest -- I really don't know for sure, but I think it terminates your data connection if it is idle for a period of time, which will save battery life.

the "long press end key" setting" icon is missing and I can't seem to find the "power" setting to change the backlight..

Weird..

Power.exe in in the windows folder, so you can access it there, but obviously something is wrong with that. I'll get it fixed..

ah...I almost forgot about tapping the battery...thanks

also I think another bug...there is no text in the notification panel when I click on the signal or data on the taskbar..

Yes text is ther for me as well. When i click the clock on the homescreen nothing happens. the usual World clock and alarm features dont come up.
