[111109] TopazSmoke COM2 ROM & Kitchen [Final] - Page 27

I flashed back to factory, flashed to 11/2 and then tested GPS, GoogleMaps worked, Bing worked, then I launched TomTom and it still says no GPS found, normaly it will say that for a few seconds then change to low signal, then sync. It never leaves the No GPS found, if I exit it and then run GoogleMaps and Bing, they never get a sync anymore either. So it's like TomTom is breaking the GPS, however it's worked on every other rom I've ran it on. Now I supposed my phone could be broke, but this did coincidentally start when I installed this rom. I will do some more testing, probably try going back to Psyki's rom and see if it works there.

India, would you mind testing TomTom and see if it works for you?

btw, 4 times lastnight my boss tried to call, I tried answering with the slide the first 2 times and the send/answer button the other 2 times and both times it locked up. He called from 2 different numbers and it still locked up.

Anyone else had this happen to them?

As I stated a page or two back, I tested Bing, GoogleMaps, TomTom, and Garmin, and all connceted to gps within 10 seconds.

Haven't had the lockup issue in receiving calls.

Groove. I am still on the 11/02 ROM and I was going to switch to the new one but I have a question. Why did you include the old (9.5) opera? I used that cab fix on the 9.7 and my bookmarks and push pages worked fine. The only reason I was going to upgrade to the 11/03 was for the data disconnect. But I really don't want Opera 9.5 as default rom... any ideas?

Some people want 9.5 and some want 9.7, so it seemed best to include both. You can use the kitchen, and just cook one or the other in if you want (I included EXT packages for each or dual). What is the cab fix for the 9.7 manila bookmarks -- I haven't seen that yet..

Indagroove has anyone experienced the phone not connecting immediately on an incoming call? Once I slide to answer, it takes about 3-4 seconds to connect.

I'm having that problem as well. Sometimes it won't even connect.

im actually looking for the start menu icons like the file explore, message, ect. all i seem to find is the manila icon upgrade? anyone able to help with this?

That fixed my answer problem. I have it sync with Exchange so my data connection is up 24 hours a day. I'm guessing those who don't have the problem or only occasionally have the problem probably don't exchange sync OTA.

fantastic rom bro. real smooth. my girls mighty 6 went out and started randomly power cycling, so i randomly tried your, and were stickin with it. love the icons, not clocking up multiple folders, really like the games and tellme you put in it. Ive only found 1 problem i cant get past. Sprint tv. Im ive tried three different tv cabs, and everytime i install the sprint tv fix, it gets to the end and says unsucessful. Ive tried uninstalling sprint tv, and it wont uninstall. Ive tried the prl update, i even hard reset, went back to stock, and reflashed again. sam deal everytime. anybody get it working. I see thesame attatchments i have in the paperclip, and since the new build no one, has spoke of this problem. Appreciate any help.
