Re: New sprint oem rom!!

Any way to enable tethering if going to new Sprint ROM?

If I flashed to new Sprint ROM then Mighty, could I enable tethering?
Thanks,

Re: New sprint oem rom!!

I sync via Bluetooth. No go. I then attempted to do it via USB cable and though recognized, et cetera, no go. On the SD method, which I used extensively with Palm OS, what are the steps?

With Palm it was: copy everything off the card, execute a quick format, copy the files to the card, push the card in to the slot and off it went.

The files of interest would they be PPST_090522_HermannC_2.34_delta.sa.CAB and RUU_signed.rbh?

Thank you.

Re: New OEM Sprint rom V. 2.01.651.6

I suppose i missed all the noob business, we are here to get this OEM better. I am still looking for the ICS reg edit to stick. Other than that, yes battery seems better and phone lot cooler. I Havent done much talking but lot of data, install, soft resets, tethering abuse....TP seems cool. I noticed some processes dont show up in Task mgr!!!to be investigated still...i had sounds on I didnt even know what friggin player was on ...lol...

Thanks,
The ROMs are mutually exclusive. If you flash Sprint and then flash Mighty, you wasted your time flashing Sprint because every flash completely overwrites the previous ROM.

It's been running sweet for me thus far. No hiccups whatsoever.

Re: New sprint oem rom!!

Another happy fix in this ROM is that Call Announce through Voice Command finally works properly without tweaks...

...But, "properly" is relative: I had Voice Command settings under Notifications button to "Announce notifications using Bluetooth hands free only" with "Only during free time" (a setting I don't understand) checked - yet, with my BT headset powered on and working it still came out of the phone's speaker.

I unchecked the "Only during free time" box in the hopes that will help, but haven't been able to test if it's helped yet. Any advice?

Re: New sprint oem rom!!

Another thing I can't get back is the screen dimming when I lock the phone using the "Long Press End" key feature. It's annoying because it was an easy way for me to tell when the phone was successfully locked. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing?
