New OEM Sprint rom V. 2.01.651.6

This rom has 1.12.34f radio and a much later PRI then stock.

I recall from the Mogul days how updating the PRI to match the radio really made a difference in odd things like GPS locks and battery drain. What I don't know is how we get that PRI onto our phones with custom roms.

So, short of flashing to THIS rom, then re-flashing to a custom rom, anyone know of a better way to get the PRI from this rom onto a TP?

What PRI # is it, Thinking about flashing just to get PRI update

Thanks, I missed it somehow - well, I did the radio but not the PRI.

Nope, that's a different profile (your data profile) - the cab in that other thread did the trick for me, I ran it, then flashed the lastest groove rom 6.5/w updated drivers... working very well.

Just FYI, with the current radio and PRI, I'm finally getting decent speeds when USB tethered



That's with indagrooves 6.5 rom, but the radio and PRI from the sprint rom

Can I just extract the ROM from the .exe package and flash by the SD card? The 100+ MB file isn't named RAPHIMG.nbh or whatever, but if I rename it will it work?

Also - if the radio gets replaced and I want to stick with my preferred Verizon radio, should I worry at all about reflashing it again? This is really important to me!

I have flashed the original stock ROM a couple times via microsd while the phone was unlocked and had no issue. As to whether you would have an issue with this new one...probably not, but I definitely wouldn't guarantee that.
