Hmm, if it's not listed there in the registry maybe it is somewhere else, I'll see if I can find anything. I still have my TP1, just doesn't have service.

Has anyone had an issue with their text messages where they do not get marked as read if you use threaded messages? So far, that's the only problem I've seen with this upgrade.

Has anyone else had tethering issues? I can't delete or modify ForceCellConnection in registry, well when I do it just reappears and resets to "Phone as Modem"

Agreed, looks like they broke tethering with this release. That was my one concern...silly of them. My suspicion was heightened by the fact that they are so adamant that one not try to reflash an earlier ROM. As soon as I change ForceCellConnection, it changes back. Good catch, thanks for bringing that up.

When adding an exchange profile in Activesync, you can now right-arrow past the "@" symbol in the email field, so you can use the hardware keyboard to set up the exchange profile without having to tap the screen to fill in that field.

One more thing they've fixed; this is huge for me. I can now finger scroll through a screen like the "Programs" screen without opening a program. On the prior stock ROM I would always end up opening whatever item my finger stopped on. Now that doesn't happen. It truly recognizes that a scroll is a scroll and at no point should it become a selection. Like I said, this is huge for me.

Sending files from my XP desktop to the TP over bluetooth seems easier. I just send the file and it receives on the phone, offering me the option to cancel. I think it used to require me to accept the file even though I had "always receive incoming beams" selected. I'm not 100% sure about this one, but I like how it's working.

The default Voice Command notification option is set to: "Announce notifications through device speaker or wired headset only". I suspect many of us probably set this to one of the other options, bluetooth only or bluetooth if available. Just in case anyone flashes this and wonders why they don't hear VC announcements through their headset anymore.

As others have noted, nice slide to answer addition, I like that touch from the newer ROMs.

This one I'll have to update as I go along, because it might just be because I've been playing around with it and reinstalling things, but after maybe 1 1/2 hours I'm down to 80% battery on my 1800mah extended battery. Normally I'm 70% at the end of the day (9-10pm), but like I said, I've been using it almost non-stop for the last 90 minutes so maybe it's not completely unexpected...

Bad news - TERRIBLE answer delay. You slide to answer and it waits several seconds before answering, and blares the answer tone in the caller's ear. I wonder if this relates to something I have installed. I did not test this when it was fresh flashed.

More bad news - as found a few pages after this - tethering is disabled. Kind of expected that...just be warned.

I looked out for the slide-to-answer delay bug when I got a call tonight. But it doesn't seem to be happening to me, so that leads me to think it may have to do with user mods/installations after the fact. I wonder how I got on without this feature for so long!

when I upgraded, I think I got a audible read of my latest email to pop up which I don't remember any of the roms i've flashed doing before.

Did they fix the BT with this release or wil we need to put the hack back in for incoming calls, texts, and emails?
