yeah, i removed the startup file, as well as the reg entries. without showcase installed, the x button doesn't close programs. only real problems i have with this build are that the stupid gray circle icon appears for no reason, and the device update thing when you first boot randomly pops up, but not everytime.

I swear when I first flashed this ROM the call history and calendar links from the home page linked to the manila call history and the TF3D calendar tab. I just noticed that they don't anymore. Now they are linking back to the WM call history and WM calendar. Was I imagining that? I hope it's not showcase again... What do anyone else's homepage links do?

I also have never been able to get the WM calendar to open in month view. I've tried and tried and tried. Anyone know of a fix for that?

I never had that device update thing pop up when I first boot up. It's really odd as that's what I spent all last night doing. I also have yet to see the gray circle icon either.

its a activation thing for sprint users probably why isn't showing up for you. :angry7:

2 things,

The "Device management" thing is driving me crazy. Any idea how to turn it off? I assume its a Sprint only thing, but I'm a Verizon Customer. Accessing anything with data brings up the Device management login screen.
"Device configuration. The Network is preparing your service please wait."
Then when it inevitably times out I get "The profile update could not be completed.

The other problem is that there doesn't appear to be a task manager anymore.

A solid build though, its pretty snappy.

I really like your rom. I think you are doing a great job. I also like the frequency of the updates. I hope you find the cooler volume screens soon.

working volume buttons would be badass.. you know what would be really cool? a task manager tab built into tf3d. or equally badass, pages that can be flipped through from the 6.5.1 notification dropdown, with icons of the programs running. both are probably out of your hands, but i'm just sayin... that would be cool lol

i've been using this from for a few days now, and its fairly stable. i run into problems with poutlook. if i open a text message thread, and then close it, and open another, the phone just freezes. so i have to close down poutlook and open it back up again to open a new contact's text thread. besides that though, its been working fairly well.

one small issue though, i don't know what it stems from. i try to make a call once in a while, and a dialog box opens up telling me i have no connection and calling isn't possible, and to try again later. i'll take a screenshot next time it happens. anyone else run into this problem?

I'm still on the 1.07 Lite version because, well it just works =D>.

I do have a problem with internet sharing (not wifi) though. I have been able to connect fine from my laptop, but after a few minutes my connection just drops and says disconnected. I can sometimes hit connect to reconnect, but most times I lose my data connection completely and have to soft reset to get it back.

Is there something I'm doing wrong with Internet Sharing?

I'm on a VZW TP.

Couple of more questions as I am still getting used to the newer WM Builds.

1) Is there any way to go back to the old style date picker via registry, or other way? I have one program that uses a date picker and when I click on it the month calendar comes up but it's huge and I can only see a few days on the calendar. It's almost as if the graphics are for a non-vga device?

2) Is there any way to selectively choose programs (via reg?) that don't use the new menu enhancements? In memaid I can't get to the main options screen to configure all of the options.

3) Anyone have different taskbar that they are using? My favorite is m6 color taskbar but when I installed it the notification dropdown stopped working when tapping on the top screen. Are there any specific taskbars that work with the newer builds (start on bottom). I've never been a fan of the tsowen one used.
