EDIT: maybe wrong forum, but i love your work on the panoramic backgrounds! i noticed you posted somewhere a start icon, the htc one....can you post one but that has the right arrow red? or show me! that will be tight as ive always wanted to learn how to do my own taskbar icons....

i keep getting this weird gray circle icon in the task bar, that pops up only when at the home screen.. when you use the dropdown notification bar from the top, it ends up being a green triangle.. and you click on it and nothing. and then it comes back. as soon as you run a program it disappears, but its right there again when you close it. i remember this being a problem with the task bar like last year, but i forget what it was exactly... anyone else experiencing this?

wtf is this activation thing that keeps popping up on boot and failing....

and damn CDMA BilboBrain taskbar doesn't work with this newer build it makes the battery default to normal. :(

yeah, the "hands free activation" screen that is trying to contact a network coming up is a huge nuisance. I can probably find a work around, but never seen that before. No Windows Live on this build (i use that alot), and icons and programs aren't organized the same way as in previous roms so some things are harder to find.

other than that...064 seems to be a decent build.

I'm trying to change the Left portrait Manila soft key but I can't find it in the registry. Can someone help me out?

I've been trying to assign a different program to the Right portrait soft key in Manila since I can't find the Left soft key in the registry anywhere. Everytime I try and change the right one, manila gets disabled and I have to hard reset. It will say loading tf3d, but then never load. Is this happening to anyone else? I've reflashed and flashed back to stock and then back to this ROM. I don't understand why it won't work and why changing the HomeRSKPath and HomeRSKText would disable manila even if I did something wrong, which I'm pretty sure I didn't as I've done it before. I've been trying to assign Showcase to that key. I would say maybe it's some problem with Showcase but other than that the program works fine and the same things happened when I tried to assign the camera to that key as well. Any help would be much appreciated.

*Edit* So I installed Showcase 1.1.01 or whatever the newest one is that I've been trying to set and tf3d wouldn't pull up again. I uninstalled and tf3d is back. So clearly the problem is Showcase. I'm reading the thread to see what's up. I also have created the left portrait soft key string in the registry so that's cool.

So I've read and read and I'm just not getting it. Near as I can tell I'm supposed to remove the manila position fix prior to installing Showcase? Where is this fix? How can I remove it?

Go to \Windows\Startup, remove manilafixposition.exe, then see if it's alright after a soft reset.

I had issues with Showcase also, but I found out it was conflicting with SSMaHo...didn't really need SSMaHo anymore, so removed it any everything works fine now. (It was the weirdest bug, it made Manila stay on the home screen no matter what tab I selected...haha)
