Just to clarify, I experience the above problems even before I install anything.

Re: [SilenceROM Final Build 23016 Manila 2.1 Native 6.5 Kernel SEPT.15.09]

I've had this rom installed for a couple days now and I have to say I love it now. Had some issues at first, flashed to some other roms and came back to this one because none other seemed to compare to it. I'm a Titanium user (just an FYI). I have to say that on this last flash to this rom two days ago something must have gone right. I haven't had any problems with this rom at all for two days and the battery life has been great! Well I have one small problem with the screen turning off during Youtube videos and turning the video off. But that's something I guess I can live with now and then. Everything just seems to work. No keyboard issues, phone issues and it looks great! Thanks for the rom.

Re: [SilenceROM Final Build 23016 Manila 2.1 Native 6.5 Kernel SEPT.15.09]

There was another user in this thread that had noted a bug when creating new appointments. I happened to experience it as well, and it looks like a certain "show-stopper" for this rom. When I add a new appointment, the start/end dates could not be modified using the datepicker. Other than this pretty major issue (yes, it's only one small thing, but a pretty important feature) this rom is great! If this is a "final rom", is there any chnace of getting this fixed? Or should I just move on.... thanks!

In the date picker just switch to landscape or hit the center button on the d-pad and it works fine. It's not a SilenceROM issue, it's a known bug in the VGA port of Manila 2.1.

I am experiencing a 'Audio' freeze as well while playing Videos per the Core Player - it seems after 2-3 minutes - the video will keep playing, but I have to 'pause' and 'un-pause' the player to get audio to resume.

Any suggestions? Anyone else experiencing this?

Anyone else try to load a PRL on their phone? I have the DCD Sprint carrier cab loaded to enable the ## codes. When I go through the process of loading the PRL, enter MSL, pick file ok, then ok, then hit yes... it just cuts the phone off and doesn't finish. You hit power and turns back on and you have the same PRL.

The side ways texting is killing me.. sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I tried the gyrator thing but that's just annoying...as it makes the phone flip the screen more than the texting.

I hate to abandon this ROM as I love it...but the PRL and the sideways texting has got the best of me for now. Probably reflash when I have time at work later this week.
