[ROM] 091409 XOR - alpha build 1.6 - 23047 - Manila 2.5 - 6.5 Kernel

XOR - alpha build 1.6 - CE OS 5.2.23047 (Build 23047) - Manila 2.5 - WWE

** This is a very alpha build -- this means there will be bugs **

Big thanks to muttim86 and the XOR team for the Manila 2.5 VGA port and the other Leo packages in this ROM!

Visit www.projectxor.com

This is currently the only CDMA Touch Pro Rom with these packages available.
The Manila is a work in progress, and there are currently known issues, but it is still very nice with lost of potential.

Ignore the blue. Release isn't like that.

Currently known Manila bugs:
- Footprints tab not working
- Internet tab opens PIE, not Opera

Fixed:
-Contact card
-Fixed manila positioning
-Fixed slight bug in the weather tab

This is just my TP rom with Manila 2.5 packages added.

Exclusively at EDTP

Looks real nice, definately needs scaled down more or to go back to earlier WM builds heh in order to best utilize the 2.5 features he. But looks great for the first one gratz, and thanks for sharing.

PS. GO SOONERS!

He's not kidding about the bugs...definitely not even close for everyday use. But it was an interesting experience to see this version of Manila, so thanks for providing it!=D>

Not for me, but I thought the first version of this ROM released over at ED/ETP Exchange was working.

I simply can't wait for the beta build of this rom. It has exactly ALL the things I need. Also it looks completely stunning. I had everything working quite well and than Touchflo3D kept restarting.

Thanks for working on this.

I checked this out and really cool, but like everyone is saying, too many issues to use as a daily rom. The exchange server worked fine for me.

I never could figure out how to get the weather on the clock screen.. I got my city there and all but it only put a number but no weather.

It is really "choppy" in scrolling. The menus do not let you get to the bottom of the scroll. Missing a settings folder.

I'm not sure it's missing the settings folder has been moved from windows start menu to the Last manilla tab thats where you can get clear storage and what not.

Yeah I have the same issue and I found the settings folder but like some of the other options like setting up the TF3D tabs you can't get to the ones at the bottom...ie. footprints etc. Unable to disable them.

Yeah, but you can slide tabs down to bring up the ones you want to disable.

Go to the settings tab in manila, tap Menu and choose All Settings...

FAIR WARNING, once in titanium I could not find a way back into the settings from anyother UI... but I really haven't looked v ery hard. I already have a panel which uses mortscript to switch between touchflo, titanium, pointsense and wisbar.

If anyone is interested I could post the scripts but I assume this'll be taken care of fairly soon and will become a non-issue.

Whats the point of not using TF3d? This rom is made to try out v2.5 and not to use titanium.

By default it's set to show up on the home screen. Just make sure that you set your location on the weather app. Then also click the clock on the home screen and add that same location as your default location.

I can't sync with my work exchange server (2007). I receive the following error:
support code 0x85010014
Does anyone know how to resolve this? I was able to sync with my google apps account.

Yup I did that but it only showed a static number underneath the time. I tried Hollywood, FL unless it's not working. It was cool how the GPS detected my city first.. I cant wait for this to stabalize because this is really neat.

I am not having any issues with it at all. Is it number 36 shown underneath the clock? What all have you changed or installed in relation to manila?

One user reported it to boot on verizon but it is not advised as it is slow on sprint tp. It is the 2.5 that makes it slow but usable.

Yes it shows 36 underneath the clock with H and L next to it.

Ok, sorry this took so long, but i been busy all night with life stuff. Anyhow I installed 1.6 version. Didnt load ANYTHING, not even my xml scripts, nothing. Same problem with the clock with this one..

Once TDF3D started, i went to weather, gps selected my city, went to home, added same city, rearranged locations to move mine to top. but no luck..I even tried to add a new city manually but still getting 36 under the clock.

WEIRD! This version though isnt getting missing file errors on the setup tab like 1.5 was so we are moving forward hehehe...

Any idea how to get the weather to work, that looks so slick!

The weather initially showed up on the today screen without any problems. Later on I set the weather screen to refresh every hour and noticed that, even though the current temperature had changed on the weather screen, the home screen temperature remained at the initial temperature after the flash. Later on I did a soft reset on the phone and now have the numbers on the home screen, instead of the weather. I haven't been able to restore the weather on the home screen.

OP, are you interested in receiving a bug report? I really like this ROM, but, due to the numerous bugs and the problem with it connecting to my work exchange server, I had to revert to a different one. I'll still be monitoring this thread and will definitely try out your next release.

Like I said yesterday, this is going to be very cool once its outa Alpha but right now it's not there yet. I can't even dial people from the contacts list so after trying this at work for 2 hours im deciding what to go back to. Battery life so far seems very good with this one. Email/Exchange is working without any problems but so many other issues outweigh the 'coolness' of this. I will definitely follow the progress and maybe in a week or two come back to this one.

Can confirm it boots on Verizon and though I'm sure my phone will explode soon, it looks amazing! Probably would need to be win 6.1 for a verizon version, but that is for someone else to figure out. Thanks for all your work!
