How stable is this ROM? I am currently using Energy Rom 09/06/09 and is real good. But I am looking at this ROM and it looks so nice that I am curious to try it out. I was wondering how stable it was, does it freeze up often and require frequent soft-re-setting, how fast and responsive is it to the different commands?
Any insights will be greatly appreciated. thanks

I thought it was very stable - but not very functional. I never locked up, and I did think the overall performance was very good. However, in terms of function - it was kind of rough. It has a slew of basic functionality issues - couldn't see any contact numbers (all I could see was [][][][][] in place of the numbers), even making a call was troublesome. But most in not all the functionality issues are due to the version of Manila and not the ROM. But like Biggzz says, it is fun mess with. Give it a try.

Yep anxiously awaiting a beta build for this. I love the new manilla.
And it is pretty cool to play around with.

Can't flash this rom. I have a sprint touch pro unlocked currently using energy rom! When I go through the ruu it says it is not valid for my phone. I have had this happen to a couple of custom roms! Any advice? Would love to try this out for a day.

Did you put it in bootloader first to avoid problems?

Is it possible to test these ROMS on an emulator...tried but was not capable.

Can some guide me in the right direction.

I downloaded Microsoft Device emulator, but it only loads the image that is there.. How can I load one from this ROM???

well im using this 2.5 alpha manila an i got the full screen thing going but everytime i come back to the home the first tab...my internet connection trys to establish a connection....this is a very big step i hope yall guys get that 2.5 rolling for the touch pro cause the touch pro 2 i wont be getting anytime soon

It's been a while since this ROM has been updated, and the necessary packages are still under development so I would think (like you purchasing the TP2), it'll be awhile before this is solid.

Link to what, the ROM? You have to go to the thread over at EverythingDiamond http://www.everythingdiamond.info/showthread.php?t=393. And from there you need to download a text file that contains the link to download the actual ROM. It's all on the first page.
