Re: [ROM] (09/21/09) [WM 6.5 23017 Titanium Only] HAZE V1.5 Native 6.5 Kernel
The signal fluctuations I was getting in 1.3 seem to be a Sprint issue, as I noticed them with my aircard as well. I'm pretty sure it's a fight between power conservation & the power boost used to overcome weak signal.
Power and performance are were in line with everyone else whose been raving about them. In other words; quite excellent. Behind door #wierdness I had these. I wasn't able to build an activesync session with the Google/Gmail Exchange Server. http://www.google.com/mobile/product...html#p=default I could never update my PRL (no matter the radio). Starting 5 days ago the today screen would never fully load during boot and froze that way (my mother always warned me). I eventually performed a hard reset to escape from the issue. The Google sync thing could be tied to WM6.5, I haven't done any research on it yet. I'll update to 1.5 tonight and we'll check it all out. Do you have an application tree for those of us having challenges finding our way around? Thanks again NV |

Re: [ROM] (09/21/09) [WM 6.5 23017 Titanium Only] HAZE V1.5 Native 6.5 Kernel
Is there anyway to get rid of the extra big titanium menu type thing? Like I really like the look of the ROM, absolutely love the menu bars and the custom icons for everything but I hate the massive highlighted scroll if you know what I mean. I'm using the mightyrom6 just on that reason that I like the smaller scroll bar. So is there a way to change that? And if not could you possibly release a theme package of your custom icons and the glass bars and such (if thats possible I'm a little new at all this stuff)

Re: Large Focus Bar Size
I backup and restore my titanium*.cpr files and chome registry these days so I keep my chome customizations. You can edit your own titanium_480x640.cpr and titanium_640x480.cpr files (in the \Windows folder) Code:
<Layer ID="Focus" Width="640" Height="116" Clip="False"> <Image ID="Image Default" Left="0" Top="0" Width="640" Height="140" ScalingAlgorithm="TriLinear" Opacity="1.0" /> <ControlSequence ID="Action Sequence" FramesPerSecond="30" Loop="False"> <Image ID="Image" Left="0" Top="0" Width="640" Height="164" Opacity="1.0" /> </ControlSequence> </Layer>

Alright thanks, don't have time to mess with it right now, but saving that cab and have your rom saved and will flash back to it later to see how I like it with the smaller focus bar!

Re: [ROM] (09/21/09) [WM 6.5 23017 Titanium Only] HAZE V1.5 Native 6.5 Kernel
Holy frijoles refritos! Wha happen?
My battery life is down to 3-5 hours in 1.5, down from 12+ hours in 1.3. With WiFi on I can actually watch the battery life drain, thanks to the new (and VERY nice) battery utility! I confess to not having put in the advanced config settings, as yet (doing it now). But I'm having trouble tying that to a 3x power consumption. I'm what the alpha-geeks call a power user (translate - resource greedy). I typically run 3-4 imap accounts, dashwire backup and the GMail exchange server thing. But I hadn't even put all that in yet. The screen doesn't stay lit long, same radio as last build, I'm working in the same places so signal strength is the same. It seems a bit late in the game to be having battery conditioning issues. I can't really account for high power usage. Any ideas. Thanks. NV |
