so I get a file corrupt message when trying to open an xls attachment, but I can open an xlsx from email fine. let me try a doc and a docx...

edit: xls and xlsx, doc and docx both worked.. how many times have you hard-reset, ycats?

I would assume they were corrupted somehow then, as docx is the newest format that I am aware of for word documents.

we should be able to open office 2007 documents. I know we can. I have found a few bugs that are unacceptable and will be re-releasing tomorrow. day of week overlaps with wifi, looks like I again uploaded the wrong build. I am going to start from scratch this time. heck might even use erice's new 23016 SYS files.

weird my dialer ended up messed up after a few restarts messing with my text messages. The only added thing I had installed was the pimpurpocketpc WM6.5 cab and its still messed up after reinstalling it. I've tried installing a couple of different dialers and its still stuck in just 1/4 of the screen... I think I'll just reflash and stick with the stock dialer even though that one has been my favorite

Running 2.2 now and seems the best yet except last night while charging the phone froze and despite being connected to the charger did not charge. Anyone else experience this?

I have heard of the night time charging freeze affecting stock TP's also. I have experienced it before a few times on various ROM's, I think this is a hardware defect and not a fault of my or any ROM.
other news, I have finished work on 2.3, which I think is more polished and much slimmer. I moved the day of the week AGAIN, this time to a more stock-looking position. I have also removed telnet and vnc, because I'm the only who uses them. I just made a cab of telnet, vnc, vpn with their license files for myself so I am happy with that. Plus it keeps the rom size down. I included a wallpaper for use with the blue titanium in \My Documents\My Pictures. I did not want to just make it the default wallpaper because some people may not like it. I tried out the new 23016 SYS files but ended up going back to 23009. I removed pretty much anything that is not essential or I personally use. Teeter for example was removed. It's cool but how often do I actually play it? never. I also removed fingerkeyboard and went back to merdinH black. If you want fingerkeyboard you can install it. How do you type a number with it? I could not figure it out lol. Now that my company has enforced new stupid activesync security changes I need to be able to type numbers without the hardware keyboard. I fixed the toggle bluetooth/wifi thing to work properly. I think that's all that is any noticeable difference, aside from hopefully more speed and stability!

VZW version uploading now - as you know I cannot test radio functions on VZW, just basic stuff but it's pretty fast! the bluetooth/wifi toggles faster than the sprint one..

I had heard that it was a problem for some people on even stock roms but I had never had it happen so I wanted to point it out just in case.

To type a number with fingerkeyboard, you just hold down the key that has the number you want as a shift function. Holding for I believe 20ms will key the number instead of the letter.

Just noticed that with 2.2 the black landscape screen is back when running the customization scripts. Downloading 2.3 now.

I have the red chameleon script in use right now. Whenever I slide out the kybrd the screen is blank except for the top and bottom taskbars. Been doing some experimenting since posting and have found that it happens when a font that is not included in your script is in use. EX:installed my borracho font and everything worked fine, ran chameleon script and caused landscape to be blank while portrait is showing up fine.

gps works (google maps)
opera runs fine.
the one thing i cant figure out is on titanium the text messaging is not there

if you open the start menu then open the folder titled system tools there is an app called titanium customizer. This allows you to enable/disable plugins and rearrange their order. Make sure you disable titanium before making any changes though.

I am glad to hear about it working on alltel! as lwrd said, you can use titanium customizer to add the panels you like. (go to start, settings, today, turn off titanium ((windows default)) first)

I do have both versions of 2.3 posted in post #1. I am glad you all like it. I think the battery life is great and I actually got just over 27fps in coreplayer with this version...

Also pleased to hear no issues except for the non-stock CPR thing. :headbang:

glad to see you like it, I cannot test gps on vzw rom because my VZW TP is not active.. if you use the HTC GPS tool does it do anything?
btw v2.4 is up for sprint, this release has updated video drivers (thanks NFSFAN) and fingerkeyboard is lightened up (removed t9)

I have been using this ROM all day and using the heck out of it. So far, I can't find anything wrong, except I liked the merdinh keyboard you had in v2.3 better. I just put my own keyboard in. Also I cant get all the channels on Sprint TV to play even after I install the Calk Sprint TV fix.... Is there something you can do about that raidzero?

sprinttv... never tried it. I will check and see.that is going to be hard to test because I'll have to test on a live device, something that I can make no promises about when I can do that. last thing I do before I release these to you is put it on my phone and go through everything and use it for at least an hour before posting. the last one I tested for a day though.

I would like to present my first ROM, which is targeted at the business audience. You will find no fluff in this ROM. This ROM is made from the erice/calkulin/ssk/silence SYS files, SSK/Silence/Calkulin/erice/my own cstom OEMs. Aside from my mishmashing of their files, tweaks and customizations, the credit goes to them. All I have done is make a hybrid kitchen from their work and added my own OEMs, tweaks and subtle changes suitable for a business environment. 16 MB pagepool. I consider this ROM to be a great starting point for any customizations needing to be done. If you need MMS you can always install it, anything I have left out can be installed. The user is free to do whatever they choose. I have included my multifont script to change titanium fonts as well as my chameleon script to change titanium glow color, you can find them in the start menu. I do this for fun and take no responsibility if this software drives you insane, bricks your phone, convinces you to sell your children, etc. You must have an unlocked device for this work. Use the hardspl from cmonex. The unlocker and all that stuff can be found in the stickies in the Touch pro forum. Always hard reset at least once (twice) after flashing a ROM! It will give much better chances of a smooth experience. This ROM is for Sprint/VZW devices only! not sure if it will even boot on other carriers. Note: I have a VZW TP but it is inactive (ported my number to sprint) so I can only test on it so much but it should just work.

by the way what does everyone think of the video performance with the NFS driver? I did find better drivers that provide a much smoother titanium experience but don't do too much for coreplayer with the QTv output driver, but with raw framebuffer they exceed 29 fps (in coreplayer) which doesn't really matter but it makes me glad to know when watching movies it will always stay smooth and no framerate will be lost..

51 people have downloaded the 2.4 release so far. someone has got to have something to say about video performance??? I really want to know if the "optimized" driver makes any difference. However in 2.5 I will be including the full openVG package.
