Raid, have you thought about cooking in finger keyboard? I have been using it for about 6 months and have found it to be the best freeware keyboard IMO. Supports multiple languages, predtext, has sound/vibrate feedback and is very finger friendly. I think it would go along with the business oriented nature of your rom. I think the name should be whatever you want it to be as you are the creator, we just sit on the edge of our seats waiting for releases \\:D/

I totally agree with LWR, I love that keyboard, and it would be geared towards your business theme. I had to flash back to another ROM until yours is updated. Can't wait to see it bro!

Also, I have a trimmed down version of Fingerkeyboard (only one theme - GrayBlue, so it cuts way down on size). Keys are gray, lettering is blue, and reg keys are there to make it default. I agree with lwrdchvy, it is by far one of the best keyboards out there.

I can send you the OEM if you like, either the slim version or the full version (3 themes, grayblue, blackgray, or graygreen). Just a note, haven't actually tested the slimmed down version yet, but no reason it shouldn't work.

hm. ill try fingerkeyboard. I have used it before, but for me i just cant use a SIP, i need hardware. choas can you post either version you want? I am just going to change the colors anyway.. thanks for all you have done!!

Completely useless but the version I have has 11 different themes and supports 19 languauges. Don't know how I got that cause I haven't seen it used by anyone, always the 3 theme version, but those with the smaller version seem to be people i recommended it to lol

Here you go, figure since you are looking for speed the single theme version will be quickest and take up the least amount of space :D

ok all. there will be no 21935 in the next release. maybe over the weekend I can learn the new stuff. I broke like everything I have and have decided to stick with the tried and true method I know. still using 23009 but will be relying on your input about GPS as i cannot test it. expect a release within an hour

im only 24 years old but when I saw that new visual kitchen I was thinking something along the lines of "newfangled" lol. guess I am old-fashioned because I prefer to edit config files by hand and a nice old batch file to do all the work...

i am intrigued though and will give this new stuff a shot another time

Your still a young pup :lol: You still do 99% of all the work outside of the kitchen itself, manually editing the reg entries, initiflashfiles, app.dat files, etc, visual kitchen just brings it all together a little easier IMO.

indeed. apart from phones why I am drawn to gentoo/slackware vs ubuntu linux distros..

anyway, been testing on my vzw tp, just made the sprint version (difft gps drivers). if that meets with my approval it will be uploaded soon. I have a crap connection so it takes like 30 mins to upload...

With a 30 min upload I should be able to let you know about the gps in 33 minutes :mrgreen:

and I give it my seal of approval. started uploading to give it a head start a little while ago, 17 mins it says.
I have removed merdinh ezinput and replaced with fingerkeyboard (thanks chaos)
I have changed theme to blue
I have changed icontact bar to blue
I have used different GPS drivers
I have restored SYM key functionality
I have added tachi notifications
I have gone back to tsowen 3.1.5 taskbar and battery icons (battery may go back to oem because I dont think the life is as good)
I have added day of week to today screen on clock panel.
titaniumradar still does not work. :(

Not sure how simple it would be to change but give this version of TW a shot. I have radar working, no problems with it.

Would you like my ext for Titanium Radar? I've had no problems with it, and it is generic, so makes it easy to set up. Plus it has cool custom icons in it (Thanks to Lioryte).

flashing now....baseline sounds like a good name to me but now you have to make a new graphic for your sig line.

Resident Evil is actually the font I used, thought the pointed letters would flow well with the heartbeat line since the peaks are pointed. I am going to resize it because it turned out more square then I thought then put it in my sig line and link to the thread if thats ok with you.

that sounds fine to me. advertisement! lol. did you use photoshop or gimp? i always think everyone uses gimp because its what I use.. its impossible to tell from the images created which program did it. they are so similar.

finally got titaniumradar working. now its just GPS and then another release will be made.

I actually used paint.net. I don't see a reason to invest in the paid for apps when I do very little graphic work. Something else I noticed is that the selection bar stays blue even if you select a different coor in the chameleon script, way to change that so it all matches?

i have been working on that (REALLY wanted to make a script for it, to fit with the others) and I have concluded no, only cabs can change that. the dlls are protected and cannot be changed on the device, only by cabs. so if you find a color you like and want to get the (closest) matching icons go to my icons thread to find what you need:

hey lwrd, can you test using the HTC GPS tool and report? THANKS!

in case you dont already know, use cold start and Q7500 chip, com4 @ 4800 baud then click open port and start test.

SHOULD see information flash by in the text box if the drivers are working.

does not look like the drivers are working. got no info in the text box or satellite connections. i was looking through the registry and trying a different settings (changed back to normal b4 running test) but since the drivers arent working I guess I can stop with that.

If that doesn't work, go to advanced search, type in 'tf3d cab' and select 'Search Thread Titles'. Should get you a few results. Just about any general question you have can be found by searching :D
