RaidZero, I've been running the new Sprint ROM all day and I believe that the battery life was better in your 2.0 version then it is in the 2.1 version.

Is anyone else seeing the this?

heh, 2.1 is where I added battery life tweaks, guess they are counterproductive. will remove for 2.2. I also have some other changes to make including removing telnet, vnc, and rdp from application launcher and replacing with toggle bluetooth and toggle wifi.

Well that's a bunch of crap :lol: Though you may be right, I think people said something about my ROM battery dropping when I implemented those. I might post a couple comparisons and see if I can't get some input. Beats me though, I don't use my phone enough to gauge it very well, I have never dropped below 50% (except once, when using an unreased version that I forgot to install the battery drivers :lol:) and I only charge my phone once a day :dontknow:

But can you remove REALVNC, TELNET. since its shareware, and you cant push people who like your rom to buy such stuff, at least provide an option to delete it by themselves.

realvnc is not shareware, there are no usage restrictions. I already removed the VPN client, will see if there are any performance gains by removing telnet. It doesn't even have any dependencies. its a standalone executable. if you don't like it just don't use it, I already took it off the home screen.

I just got done installing this and this isn't baseline enough... there's far too much installed in this ROM. It's the best I've found for my touch pro so far but everybody cooking these roms is packing a ton of stuff into it. I was using your 2.0 ROM for a few days before this. If anybody knows of an even more basic ROM please let me know. I've found that having the most basic install possible brings a more stable phone and a better overall experience.

Weather on the homepage is well known to be a resource hog

On my Mogul I was using a way more basic 6.5 ROM but it had some kind of easy battery meter in titanium but I can't find a cab to install it. Also when I try hitting the battery up top I'm not getting the battery meter.

If you can add options to remove any extras like the youtube app and a bunch of the other stuff I'd certainly appreciate it! Best ROM I've found so far! Thanks for adding the orange theme so I didn't have to download it again

Thanks, I am glad you're enjoying it. As far as making it more baseline.. well I can cook one up for you with NOTHING in it if you want. tell me what you want to stay and everything else will go by the wayside. and whether you want any of my chome modifications and the wifi/bluetooth toggles, etc. for battery meter just tap anywhere on the taskbar icons and it wil bring up the tachi notifications, from there you can get more specific by tapping on the icons you want.

The lite version of my ROM will be stripped of everything but essential drivers, so you might send him over there, once I get it finished (which will hopefully be soon :D)

see that, farked? he can help you out. If someone wants a really stripped rom they can always just download a kitchen and strip away... the reason we make custom roms is to offer what others don't..
plus supporting a stripped rom would be impossible, and everyone has a different definition of stripped, but I will try my hand making a naked version. shouldn't take too long to build lol. as it already my kitchen starts in under a second and the build is done within 3 mins

edit, 3 mins may be hyperbole, I will time my next build and get a definite answer lol
