So, wanna share your GPS secret :D Freaking thing been pi**ing me off :lol:

Manual hard reset - Hold Vol down and enter (center button) and push the soft reset button. Continue to hold down the Vol down and enter buttons until screen asks "this operation will delete all personal data......"

Edit: Just saw that some people say that doesn't work for sprint TP. Some say turn phone OFF, then hold VolDown, enter and press power key to get "delete data" screen.

If that fails, try this (found here):

I just got off the phone with Sprint and they walked me through doing this for my HTC Touch Pro. Here is what I did:

1) Open the phone dialer and enter ##786#
2) This opens a statistics screen with a bunch of info
3) in the lower right hand corner, click menu, then choose "Reset"
4) A pop-up will open asking for a code. They told me to enter "838424" I am assuming this is the MSL code. I have a program to get that from your phone if you need it.

downloading now but waiting to install til tomorrow. Congrats on getting the gps to work, did you put bing back into the rom? Noticed it was gone on the previous release.

The steps you posted for resetting via ##786# are right and that 6 digit code you enter is your msl but doesn't that method require the phone to be reprogrammed with your mdn and msid? I know there is a way to reset the phone that requires reprogramming I just can't remember which way does...been too long since I quit working for sprint.

bing is not installed by default. I think it's too buggy really. wish they never changed from good old livesearch... I will see if I can include the livesearch, in my eyes newer is not always better. but let me know what you think!

What part of Bing do think is buggy? Just curious because at first I didn't like it but now it has kind of grown on me.......

I also like: www.Viigo.com but currently I don't believe it works on 6.5

I just prefer the old one, faster, more responsive, stable. I made a cab of version 4.5. It should not check for updates as long as you use my shortcut in the start menu... if it does it will go to bing :(

as far as the good old Hard reset goes... many different ways to do It. the only way I have gotten a bunch of the Verizon TP's to reset is to hold he center D pad button and push reset with stylus while holdign D pad center. anything involving the volume keys no workie... :)

Oh ya, flashing now... will play tomorrow and decide if im staying or going bak to Demo. :)
