Re: midNIGHT ROM/Kitchen 2.0: 99.99% PURE TITANIUM WM 6.5 build 23009

Well the rom is nice and stable for me. Good Job. I do have some questions on the Titanium home screen.

Many of the enabled panels/tabs/Plugins are not showing up. Opera, Titanium weather, cmyfavs, chomefavs, gprograms(launcher) all are enabled but do not show up. I did the whole refresh, soft reset, enable/disable of Windows Default. Anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

I like the features and setup. But this build is not running stable for me. I am experiencing a lot of freezing (including when connecting USB cord as was pointed out already) and other annoyances. I think this sys is not clean. I flashed twice to make sure it wasn't a bad flash.

The sys is clean. I am not sure why you are having troubles. I wasn't having problems with activesync but I updated the usb to pc drivers in the next release. Did you cook it or use the rom I cooked. More info would be helpful.

Thanks for the response. Sorry, I should've been more specific.
- I did cook the ROM, I did not use the kitchen.
- I am experiencing freezes when connect via USB. Sometimes it connects fine and I get the usual pop-up; but often it freezes.
- I get freezes when I try to launch programs occasionally. I can't find a pattern, it does not happen on the same shortcuts; so it almost seems random.
- When I try to open email (I am connected to exchange server via data-push) sometimes mailbox does not open. I am using Mobile Shell as my interface (not Titanium) so maybe it is an issue there.
- The only reason I said I suspect it is a problem with the new system is because I did not experience any of the above in previous beta build that had an older sys. I rolled back to that one and no freezing so far.

Love the ROM though. Thanks for all your work!

Could you clarify something for me. Did you just flash the rom I made of did you use my kitchen to cook your own. Are you on sprint or verizion? Do you have enough free ram? Try reducing the pagepool size, it's set to 32 by default. I cannot reproduce any of the problems you are discribing. I will try to rebuild another rom with an updated xip and drivers tonight.

I will be releasing a new rom today. I updated the drivers and lowered the pagepool to 24mb. I think the problem was actually with te new extended driver filter. I updated that and have no problems or lockups.

I will keep you guys posted. I am just trying to get the icons skinned and its done.

The problem is I pulled the extra panels from SAC's kitchen. You cannot really pull panels from kitchen to kitchen. I uploaded a new rom and the kitchen is following.

Re: midNIGHT ROM 2.1 Singularity Edition/Kitchen: 99.99% PURE TITANIUM WM 6.5 build 2

The new ROM is up. Enjoy.

Please leave feedback.

I also would like to know the following:

1) What calendar app do you guys use
2) What file explorer do you guys use

For my personel roms I remove the default File Explorer and cook in Resco Explorer. I also use iContact as my contacts app and Pocket Informant for my calendar app. I hard code the links into my rom so that every contact link or calendar link points to these. I can post my rom but I wanted to know if anyone uses these also because you will have to actually have these programs inorder for this rom to work correctly. Let me know
