So, this fix will just add the icon. So then it will show when you are picking up 1x, Ev rev0, and Ev revA.
The instruction are in that link i gave you.

you're very welcome man. it's no problem at all.
download the dll file and put it on your storage card. then, using a free program on your phone called Total Commander, copy and paste it to the windows folder and it will overwrite the old one.

1. download that dll
2. put it somewhere on your storage card NOT THE RAR the actuall file inside the rar
3. open total commander and go to where you put the dll file.
4 highlight it and click copy
5 click tree and and locate /windows
6 click ok
7 click copy
8 exit total commander
9 wait a few seconds
10 soft reset the device
i dont think i skipped any steps

It was 45 seconds with the other radio. I can make calls from a bunker if needed, for some reason, the Sprint radios give me major roaming issues and horrible internet speeds.

I agree, 1.03.09v was great for me also. I just flashed the latest Alltel radio and am having the same if not better results then the 1.03.09v radio....my biggest problem is the signal at work (ironic that i work at Verizon....lol) but the new Alltel radio is looking like a keeper. I just need to verify that the GPS is working for my upcoming trip and we will be all set to go....:headbang:

to correct myself - GPS is working after removing the SUPL AGPS registry key. The 1.12 radios seem to have broken gpsmode=4, but (a)GPS in general works.

Can you flash the radios using the SD card? I tried doing it the way that you flash a rom using the SD card and it doesn't seem to work.

The newest Verizon seems to work the best in Michigan around the Metro Detroit area so far.

I've been rollin with MR5 out here in Manchester New Hampshire with my Sprint TP. Started with stock radio (sucked), updated to the 1.12 (made my phone run even hotter), and switched to the 1.04 Telus. Phone runs cooler, reception is as good as it gets for either being in certain buildings or out in the middle of nowhere. I'm stickin with the 1.04 Telus for now. Hope this helps!
