yesterday, i was at the renaissance festival in holly with sprint's 1.12.34 and i had a full 3G signal just about the entire time. so if holly/flint is close enough to "southeast", then try that one

Been trying the newest Verizon radio around the Boston area for a couple days and it been a life saver on the battery.

I just flashed my radio to verizon but now my internet doesnt work?? I cant find a thread to help?

Weird, in my area I have the exact opposite problem. My phone will drop to 1x when I am upstairs in my room, but when I switched to 1.12.34F from 1.11.00F, it stays on EV and I have maybe 1-2 more bars.

When I power on my phone the first screen I see is a flying saucer and some red #'s. I've changed radios and roms a few times since, but the ufo is always stays. I don't recall it being there when I first got the phone, so my question is if it's not from a rom or radio, where did it come from? Thanks for any info.

Someone clear this up for me.

Right now, I'm on Sprint SERO. If I flash to a Verizon radio, will I be considered roaming on their network?

Isn't this illegal, and won't I incur charges or even disconnect for my service?

no. flashing to a different radio does not affect that. changing the radio is just for getting better signal, basically.

Thanks for the help. So the image at boot is the only thing left of that old rom then?
