Re: New Alltel Touch Pro Stock ROM

How does this ROM compare to say MightyROM6?

Battery life was bad and device was slow and unstable on old stock ROM, almost took phone back before I started flashing ROMs. Curious to know how it compares to MR6 in speed/stability?

It's just as bad as the original stock rom, only difference I could really see was slide to answer and a new radio. Still slow, still full of bloatware, etc.....

Re: New Alltel Touch Pro Stock ROM

that stinks.

If I could find a ROM that didn't have an answer delay I'd be happy. speed and other stuff are fine on many ROMS but all of them seem to slow down after a day or two and start to have same issue of the delay in answering. Phone rings if I answer too quickly it just sits there won't pick up. if I wait till 2nd or 3rd ring it usually answers. this only happemns after about 24hrs

Disable the HTC phone skin and use the stock dialer and it will be an instant ring. If you want to have a good looking dialer but minimal delay time try phonex, it is a pay application, but definitely the nicest out there

Have you used Advanced Config? It is known to cause this problem, and is covered in the Touch Pro Essentials thread. Look in the registry for this key,

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\ConnMgr\Planner\Settings]

make sure SuspendResume is set to #777 (not anything containing GPRS).

I'm sure this is your problem considering you say it starts about 24 hours later, aside from that though, the stock ROM is terrible, I recommend Juicy.

Re: New Alltel Touch Pro Stock ROM

i will make that change now. funny i've pro ready 20 "how to make your TP better" threads and never seen that change.

I have also asked that question prob 3 times with no response.

I hope it works. yes i use advances config to change my data connection settings but never made the connection b/c that is the only thing i do with it.

Shawn.
