i dont want to try this rom, just the radio, thank u to the above post.

can someone refresh my memory how to enter the flash from sd card procedure on the tp, which key combo is it?

and just to confirm altel is cdma too right? i wont have any problems finding sprint and verizon cell towers with this radio right? cuz radios are generic from htc??

Yes Alltel is CDMA you wont have any problems... already running the radio myself.

To flash with SD card you go into bootloader mode( Power button,Volume down, Reset hole)

Rename the custom ROM NBH file from RUU_Signed.nbh to RAPHIMG.nbh

Hey rourke,
yours is still showing the same old one because you flashed from sd card. You have to flash through computer to get the whole thing.
No I didn't, lol. I flashed via Active Sync.

Edit - Hmm...hard reset didn't fix it, so I flashed off to a custom ROM then back to the new Alltel and it updated the PRI. Musta just been a buggy original flash.

I'm going to give the new Radio a shot... although I am currently very pleased with the Verizon 1.03.03 Radio.

EDIt: After a few hours of testing at work... i'm noticing the building penetration is bad compared to the VZW 1.03.03 Radio. I'm going to test a bit more before I flash back.

my bad man...i thought i read earlier that you did. That's strange then. Wonder why this is happening.

I don't know mate, but I'm in love with the radio. Getting much better signal in all my usual haunts, and the battery hasn't appeared to suffer much (though still need a few days to confirm.)

I don't suppose anyone wants to upload the .nbh file for me, i am at work and they don't allow active sync, so i would like to flash with my SD card
