stock shipped roms always update the radio.
you flash a radio just like you flash a rom, run the ruu that is included with the radio and it will flash just like a rom.

thanks for the info. So far ive noticed that i have longer battery life using this radio compared to the original alltel one. It's gone from needing to be charged everyday to every 2 days

Overall I've just seen better performance from the new radio in general, I haven't had any collisions with text messages like I was and seems like the internet on the phone has improved in its speed.

Darn ,can anyone else see this kind of improvement? If so I better flash this puppy FAST!!!

Isror's right Junior, this radio is FAR superior to the previous Alltel radio IMHO.

I can finally flash to other radios!!! Im glad this new ALLTEL stock rom is out. IM going to give the telus radio a try since I can always flash to this ROM if i ever have any problems.

I tried flashing this rom to my alltel phone and all i keep getting is a upgrade rom code error, I have juicys latest rom on my phone and i just wanted to go back to a more stable rom

just redownload it and remove mem card and put phone into bootloader mode and connect to computer then run the exe.

Thanks for the quick reply. I didnt know i had to take the memory card out and i only flash from the pc. I'll try what you said.
