ok now that i downloaded it FROM MY PHONE. i am just wondering
why would we want to flash this when we have all these custom roms out there? would this be qualified as a shipped rom?
if i flashed this rom would i be able to take it to the store with no problems?

This in fact is the shipped ROM. You would in deed be able to return the phone with this ROM loaded. You would have to re-lock your phone before returning it. Just in case they look. :drunken:

This would qualify as a shipped ROM and you wouldn't have problems in a store. If anything, flash it to test out a new radio (since flashing to a custom ROM won't change it).

sweet. this came just in time because i have to get a new TP and this will make reflashing and relocking even faster and easier :)

Wow im so used to wm6.5 that this rom was like a completely new OS to me! Here is a list of things Ive noticed:

*Screen switches orientation INSTANTLY! Much faster than any rom ive used
*Accelerometer in Album is quick and responsive but swiping through pictures is a tad slower than the original alltel rom
*Total Storage memory is 300934K

Yes...the PRI is updated to 2.00_011.

Hey rourke,
yours is still showing the same old one because you flashed from sd card. You have to flash through computer to get the whole thing.

has anyone pulled the radio out so we can try it? im hesitant to flash a different carrier rom just for the radio, would i be safe (sprint customer) if i flash this then softreset before any customizations then go back to custom rom? i dont want to update my pri if it doesnt come from sprint because i have a bad feeling that wont be good. what does pri do anyway? would that new version 2.x work on sprint (better or worse)

Just Got the Alltel Radio dumped and made RUU.

Dont mind the Image version...Didn't bother to change it.
