Re: Generic WM 6.5 23028,21840 SYS and ROM for TP here...

Anyone tried the 23409 posted earlier? Planning to cook a daily driver this weekend and want to know if 23409 is stable.

Sorry for the delayed response - 23047 is timebomb patched as was stated earlier. 23409 is a nice setup, but 23047 is much nicer. Both are very stable, tho the only HTC addins I can get working nicely are the transparent version of the task manager and random access for the contacts.

I have also noticed that the taskbar addon I have install on first boot is causing problems with the buttons - so I would recommend uninstalling them if you use the prebuilt rom I shared.

After some more research, I'm leaning towards 23047 as well. Haven't downloaded XIP yet but hoping it has cachefilt.dll. Thx for the postings.

I think he removes it like Calkulin so I would go straight to the source of Da_G or get the xip from the 6.5 thread on here

I've been doing my best lately to try and remember to leave it in the xip when I insert it into the os.nb.payload. Both 23409 and 23047 should have it.

Re: Generic WM 6.5 23028,21840 SYS and ROM for TP here...

I love the 23047 build, it is much more refined, but after flashing, and then hard resetting, I still don't get proper battery level readings.

The power settings always shows 0%, and the icon on the top taskbar always shows 100%. I installed SPB Mobile Shell 2.xx and it must use the power .cpl cause it shows the battery dead all of the time.

Anyone else seeing anything like this?

That happens when the battery driver isn't installed. Since I prefer the icons that come with 23047 in the taskbar, I stopped using the Rev A battery icons in the kitchen. But I moved the battery.dll folder from the battery icons oem to the oemdrivers folder and that took care of it.

Thanks for the quick reply and all of your work on these ROMs.
I don't fully understand your reply, 'cause I've never cooked a ROM before. I installed the generic prebuilt ROM. Is the battery driver located somewhere in there that I can move, or do I need to download it from somewhere?

Oh... Then I need to correct my kitchen setup for the Touch Pro. Sorry.
