Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (beta updated sept.20)

Having an odd issue with the last build, JD. I can't get this thing into USB Drive mode. No matter how I set it up - ask/set and never ask, it keeps coming up in activesync when I plug it into my USB port.
Anyone else noticing this?

Re: JD's Clean Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM & Kitchen (beta updated sept.20)

here's another tester http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=f...db6fb9a8902bda 103-21849-092309

keynotes:

1. this build introduces a updated phonecanvas that plays well with 6.5 however since it come from another device certain funtions like call holding and dialer codes do not work yet (I'm still working on it)

2. this build comes from a "official" 21849 wm 6.5 Topaz rom lower build number but its not beta when I get builds I REALLY like to get them from roms so I can keep up with the source

3. ezinput 2.0 is here for now I changed some of the graphics so it came be more personalized for me by me

4. I updated usbtopcpopup and tvoutpopup because of the changes in the way the helvetica font is displayed in those apps they function differently (slower) but work correctly

5. the base is finalized there should not be any os related bugs in the rom that can not be fixed via a soft reset all other testing from here on out will be to fix compatibility issues in the extended apps from htc

6. Enjoy! immediate feedback helps speed the process of getting this done for a base kit release

JD, so far the 23053 build is the best wm6.5 build yet. The battery life is unbelievable, data is more stable, my memory or processor usage was down to 23% before any additional cabs, and I've found a way to add the things missing from the manila look.

By using panels I've been able to add favorites, weather, and Opera to my home screen.

Do you have any screen shots? or can you tell me how you used panels (and what they are)?

what I have noticed is that those builds mainly dropped near a weeks end so when something pops up you will have it
